Appam recipe:
Ingredients:
(Easy way to make appam:)
Rice flour- 3 cups
Coconut milk as required
salt - half tsp
Suger- 1 tbsp
Yeast- 1/2 tsp
coconut water
Method:
Take quarter cup warm water and dissolve the sugar in it. Add yeast and let this stay to ferment.Keep it aside.Mix rice flour and coconut milk (the batter should be almost like dosa batter).Add the fermented yeast to the batter. Then add the suger and salt.Mix all these well.Keep this in a big steel or glass bowl.Once it is fermented keep this inside the refrigerater. After fermentation if the batter is thick add coconut water or coconut milk to get it dilute. Now the appam batter is ready to make appam.
