Hey scorpio, badri,
Pardon me I cannot follow tamil. :( wolud u be kind enough to transalate the above two posts pls. I just learnt the tamil word for snakegourd so that i get more recipes from dear hubbers.
Even though i don't know tamil i could make out that u guys were speaking something abt veggie market, rt? :wink:

Sorry tomato, u r right, badri was joking the hub has become a veg market with tomato and snake gourd :lol: and I lamented at the way he converted the whole introduction into a silly joke.

And badri tahnx for thakkali=tomato. If u teach me a new tamil word each day, may be soon i too will be able to enjoy the small chit chats u have among yourselves. And maybe one day I'll also be able to post in tamil.

I've been fighting this urge to comment but alas...can't! You know why? Your pseudo "Neeharika" keeps reminding me of MeeHariIni...
Literally translated to "today's noodle"... :lol: :lol: in Malaysian language! Sorry..but can't help it!! especially when I'm browsing the hub before lunch!! :) :)

I too am fighting this urge to comment on this pseudo. "Today's noodle' ORaLavu paravailla. But this nick reminds me of something not so pleasant. In Sinhala buffalo is called 'meeharaka' - almost the same spelling and pronunciation too sounds similar I guess . :P

Hey Neeharika: No one is making fun of you! Don't worry! I am sure everyone agrees it is a beautiful name, in itself!
Like so many names rhyme with so many things, Neerharika must have rhymed and so reminded them of other things!
But I didnt know it meant "dew drops". Nice name, nice meaning!
