I cook a lot, and I am finding it very difficult to get rid of these persistent odors. We just moved to a new home, and I would hate to get these odors into all the rooms' walls, carpets etc. :(

Googling suggested the use of baking soda, activated charcoal, and HEPA filters..

Can somebody please suggest the best of these methods, tried and tested.. or any other alternate method I might not be aware of..

Thanks in advance..

This is one way I can think of:
To restricting the food/cooking odour close the kitchen door while cooking and at the same time open any windows which open out into the backyard. Switching on the exhaust fan will also help. Let the exhaust fan run for half an hour more (after the cooking) to get rid af any lingering smell.
Happy cooking !!!!!!!

Hi,

One of my friends suggested that, in a bowl of vinegar, light a candle when you cook. She said it absorbs all the smell. Haven't tried it yet.
