Shree Gananadham (kanakangi) - A Query

In his Kanakangi composition, Shree Gananadham, Sri Tyagaraja has a line, "Anjaneyavatharam"

Does anyone know why he has used this? I mean, I have never heard of Anjaneya as being an Avatar of Ganesha or vice-versa.

Hence, why does he say, Anajaneyavatharam?

My prostrations to Lord Ganesha, who grants wealth and boons

Who precedes Lord Subrahmanya, being worshipped first and foremost, the son of Shiva and bestower of wealth for those seeking refuge.

One who is pleased with the entertaining stage of the world, adorned with tinkling bells, taken the form of Anjaneya* with mellifluent speech and elephant face.
