My father learnt Classical Music from Late Sri.Sattur Krishna Iyengar during 1950s.He was told that the guruparamapara was from Saint Thyagaraja through his student Manambuchavadi Venkatasubbaiah, his student, his student Namakkal Shesha Iyengar and his student Sattur Krishna Iyengar. Please any body can confirm this lineage?
