Pickles

Hello hubbers, my name is Jason and I live in Canada. I am a humble student of indian cooking, especially south indian.

I would like to ask if anyone could tell me some recipes for southern style tomato pickle, onion pickle, garlic pickle, ginger pickle, anything like that. I have all of the ingredients I think would be needed.

My favorite kind of pickles are the Mother's Recipe pickles.

I personally dont have any recipes with measurements. I would suggest you go and look up for it in www.ammas.com. Thats also a very good site and the recipes are posted on the site. Its a good place to start for any indian delicacy, cos almost all of the recipes are posted by ppl who have tried and tested them.

Hi Sangi, thanks for the reply. Ammas is a good site, I am well acquainted with it. I just would like some more specific instruction on how to make the southern style pickles. They are so good. I actually have a page at ammas jjmoney.ammas.com
