new serial by Naga comes on every Sundays at 8:30pm INdian time, and 10:00pm Eastern US time. This serial replaces the comedy serial by Naga, which basically sucked. The new serial is another mystery series like chidambara ragasiyam, its called Adhu Mathrum Ragasiyam meaning "Especially that is a secret". wow, the first episode kinda lays the main thesis of hte story, a temple in a village surrounding, and people only worship the door inside the temple, and behind the door is the secret. cant wait for someone to start a thread on this serial, if not, i will start one soon, please join this thread, and watch this serial, another great mystery series by Naga. wow, now, my favorite serials are Chidambara Ragasiyam, Selvi, and this Adhu Mathrum Ragasiyam. please leave ur comments. thank you. i will also be posting the synopsis of the weekly episode, if i see some activity on this thread. thanks again.

ok. cool. good to see a few people come on this thread, hope more people will join. ok here is the synopsis of the first episode of ADHU MATHRUM RAGASIYAM. The serial starts in a village, i dont exactly know the name of the village. It starts out as a guy coming from the city, driving a car into this village. He asks this one guy for direction, and as the car is going, we see a snake on one of the trees. So as this guy reaches the house of the panniyar, or the main village head. We see a guy with a dog, the actor is the same actor from ChidRagasiyam, who reads the ola chudis to akash. he is the chinna ayya, and this city guy is his friend,they are close friends. The chinna ayya basically just introduces his friend to his mother, and father. His father periya ayya is the village head, and the whole village respect him, and as chinnaayya takes his friend around the village, he shows him their kuladeivam temple. This is where the story becomes interesting. everyday periyaayya comes to the temple, and does pooja to the door inside the temple, which safeguards the god, i believe he mentions kali, behind it. although no one has seen the god behind the door. so chinnaayya explains to his city friend, people who tried to breakin thru the door to see the god, have not seen god, but have seen death. but this city guy, at night, when everyone's asleep, leaves the house, takes a torchlight, and goes into the temple, he reaches the door, looks thru a hole in the door, and when he turns back, there is a snake hanging from like a pole inside the temple, and it ends there. I hope you guys understood the synopsis, this is my first synopsis, so if its bad, please excuse me,and give me opinions to improve next time. thanks. please leave opinion

yea, villaku viche veedu was a comedy by Naga, and it was an utter disaster, it was not very funny. But hopefully like his other mystery serials, this one will be good.

Hopefully, Naga should maintain the quality of CR along side giving us good thrills in IMR. Comparisons will most certainly be made between these two suspence serials. Lets see how it goes.

CR is getting very complicated. I have to read the CR forum to recollect who/what etc.

ok. synopsis of episode 2 or ragasiyam 2. ok. it starts out as it left the first episode, the city guy Kumar turns back, and there is a snake hanging from a pole on top of him. He ducks down, and he passes the snake, but there is another snake sitting on the gate of the entrance of the temple, which he did not notice, as he is going backwards looking at the snake hanging from the pole, the snake behind him bites him, and he falls down, and he dies. Then the panniyar, his son, the temple priest come to place because as Kumar falls down, he hits the temple bell, waking up everyone in that village. So everyone look at the dead body, and then a few months later. This is at a different area, in chennai city. An old man named subramaniyam(im not sure about the name, i will change it after reconfirming), escorts a namboothri into his house. The namboothri looks at the his son's jadagam, while subramaniyam, and his wife sit and listen to what he has to say. The namboothri asks the couple, did ur son, and his wife come here from US, they answer Yes, and he asks them to come out of their room, as he is telling joshiyam for them. So first, their son's wife Shree comes out, she then says vanakkam, and then the namboothri asks what is ur husband doing, ask him to come out. So finally Shree's husband comes out, just woke up, and he doesn't have faith in all this joshiyam. So the namboothri prays, and he has the shells, he then says that you all have insulted moogambikai's family, so she is torturing you. He asks them when did they last go to their native village. They answer 25yrs ago, when their son was 3yrs old. Their native village is the village where Kumar died, and the temple is. So the namboothri asks them if they did the giving of hair to the god properly. The son's mom tells them no, he didn't sit in his uncle's lap and give hair to the god, because the two families were not in good terms. Then the namboothri says that after your son, ur generation will stop, ur son will not have any children. So Subramaniyam asks the namboothri for any parigaram ( or solutions). So the namboothri says it is a simple parigaram, all u have to do is shave ur son's head in ur native temple, and give it to god. then ur daughter in law will conceive, and give birth. But the son shows no care to all this superstitions, and calls them all mad. The namboothri gets mad, and he says that u might think im a liar, but if u insult me, ur insulting god. ok, u dont have to believe me now, but u will see three signs, and then u will know what I am telling is true. First, when you wake up tomorrow morning, when you see the Sun for the first time, u will not be able to see the sun. Second, at an unexpected time, there will be a pigeon with a black bangle or ring around its neck that will visit ur house. Third,(this im not very sure) a pulavar, or a priest will keep looking at you. Saying this, he leaves. So Shree asks her husband to cooperate with the pooja, but he does not like to get involved in this superstition. Then back to the village, we get intoduced to the village head's daughter, im sorry guys, the name is not mentioned in the serial yet, so cannot assign a name, so bare with me. She comes from the city, she studies in a college there, she says that she is going to leave today, and her mother, and father are upset that she has to leave to go study, and her father wants her to stop her studies. He says that ur studies are useless. Supposedly, Shree's husband was supposed to marry this daughter, but he married shree, and this upset the village head. So he says, that we cannot decide who our daughter is going to marry, only atha(the mookambika god) will decide her future. So after that ,it shifts back to chennai city, its next morning, and Shree goes out to see the sun, and the sun is very visible. Then she wakes up her husband to see what the namboothri said was true, and when he comes to see it, the clouds block the sun. So she gets upset, she wonders if the namboothri was right, but her husband says its just coincidence, dont give into these stupid superstitions. Then at night, when Shree passes a room, all of a sudden she hears a pigeon, and turns back, there is a pigeon with a black bangle or ring around its neck sitting. She looks at it, and then thodarum.

sorry about last week, i was busy, and sick at the same time, so couldn't post synopsis of episode 3. well basically, wat happened last week was shree, her husband, and hte parents go to the pannakadu, shree's husband is still determined, and doesn't worry too much about these supersittions. once they are in the pannakadu, they basically get acquainted to the village chief, his wife. Then, the village head's daughter goes back to the college in coimbatore. Then her brother takes her to the railway station, on the way, the sister wants to pray to a snakehole (which is considered god). So the brother doesn't believe in god either, so he said ur just praying in front of this snakehole, but there is no snake, and the snake wiill not come out. But the sister says, if I pray, and consider the snake a friend, the snake will come out. So as she is praying, two snakes come out of the snakehole, or snakehill. The brother is shocked, and they leave. The two snakes are the same snakes that killed Kumar, the city guy who tried to look through the keyhole of the temple. Ok, back to the pannakadu, Shree and her husband are just looking at all the customs in that village. Then they see a group of people beating a blind guy, and they tell the flashback of this guy, he was drunk, and he tried to look through the keyhole of the door of the temple, and he lost his eyes the next second. Then, all they do is talk aobut the happening of the village. Then when they are talking in a terrace, Shree's husband looks down, and sees a diabled person looking at him, and his wife. They are shocked. Thodarum. This is synopsis of episode 3. This was the third sign by the namboothri, a disabled person will stare at him, unexpectedly.

ok. synopsis of ragasiyam 4. after the disabled guy staring at them, shree is upset that the namboothri is right, but Shree's husband still doesn't believe in all these superstitions. So after that, the husband tries to follow the disabled person, but he loses him. So after that, the city watchman tells him, that the disabled person that you saw is actually a ghost, and says that the town is divided into east and west. Noone from the east can enter the west, and vice versa. After that, a young girl carrying things suffers pain, and its found that she had attained puberty. But in that village, girls that attain puberty are asked to marry a person by random, and in flashback, the girl's mom when she was 15 or 16 and attained puberty, had to pick out a piece of paper by random, and had to marry a 50yr old man. So two women in the village, and an old man who know that this young girl has attained puberty, are keeping it a secret. So they are doing all these customs for her, and then when she is praying to the atha, by going around a tree, she hears a ghostly feminine voice laughing Thodarum.

ragasiyam#5. ok, after the feminine laughter, the small girl gets scared, and a fruit is wrapped in a piece of clothing, and falls fromthe tree. the feminine voice said take the prasadham, and leave. the girl takes it and runs, she runs into Shree, and her husband Mohan. Mohan follows the girl, and Shree goes to the tree, she looks around, and when she is turned back towards the tree, a women hanging from the tree, swings and kicks her in the back. Frightened, she screams and runs back to Mohan, and they come back to the tree, the dead body is gone. An old lady comes by and says that this was the tree where this one lady commited suicide. Take care of your wife, because it is good to see the lady when she is alive, but your wife has seen the dead lady, so there is danger awaiting her. After this, there is a argument between Shree and Mohan, shree compels Mohan to shave his head, and donate the hair to the god, but he refuses. Then there is a lunch in the village head's house. Everyone's assembled, Mohan tells the village head that he doesn't believe in what the whole village believes, and doesn't believe in Atha, and says that Atha is all fake. Then he just gets up, and leaves. This angers the village head. Then there is a proceeding going to god, the food kept for the god is taken by a black dog, then the guy doing the prayers, comes in front of the village head's house, as the dog is his. He says the dog has taken the food, and the anger of Atha is on this house, he also says that whoever's feet the dog drops the food, he is going to face death soon. So the dog runs into the house, and everyone's watching. Shree, Mohan, and village head's son are standing there, the dog then put the food next to MOhan's leg indicating that he is going to face death. Thodarum.

Originally it was planned that Athu Mathrum Raghasiyam (AMR) will be shown in Malaysia (ASTRO Channel 73) and this used to be shown in the adverts (Sundays 1.30 pm)
But I checked again yesterday and something else is on at that time and there is no more mention of AMR in the adverts.

sorry for the delay for ragasiyam#6. there was nothing much that hapened interesting in the last episode. adhu mathrum ragasiyam is turning out to be uninteresting at some parts. last episode was basically. Mohan's dad is upset with everthing that has been happening in the pannakad. So he tells Mohan that they should leave soon after Mohan offers his hair to the god, but he refuses. Then the person who does all the pooja at the temple has a brother who is more modern, and wants to get a job in the city, and get out of this village, which is hell to him. then the brother also works at the temple, a person comes running to him saying that his wife is having labor pains, and he need the viboothi. the brother says you need to take your wife to the hospital, and not just rely on god, but the superstitious nature of the man, he just takes the viboothi, and leaves. Then all of a sudden, the brother's veshti (the thing that he wears) gets caught on fire, but its just minor, nothing happens to him, he is just upset of the fact that god is punishing him for telling the truth, and asking the guy to go take his wife to the hospital instead of praying to god at this time. So after that, at the village head's house, they are all waiting for shree, and MOhan to come by, so they can meet the periyappa, he is supposed to have the same strength as ATha (God). Then we see the periyappa, he is like 80yrs old, and these men, compel this women to sleep with the periyappa. Then a person comes by, and offers the prasadam from God, then one of the servants, thinks to himself, the old man already has a prasadam (he means the women), and he needs more prasadam. The periyappa stares at him, and he says, if I was younger, i would have more prasadam, but I am not, he knew what the servant was thinking. Then he hits his eye, and the servant goes blind. Then the periyappa just controls the women, he stays outside his room, the women goes inside his room, and he closes the door. The periyappa is gong to sleep with this 30yr old girl. As I said, this serial is getting gross at times, but I hope it becomes better, waiting for tonight's episdoe, i will post the update on tuesday. sorry for the delay

Anyway I watched an episode but am not sure what number the episode was, because I missed the beginning. (maybe Episode #7)

Here is an update from where I saw:
Shree (if I am not mistaken she is Divyadarshini who played Valli in Annamalai) was walking with an old man (a servant) along a path in a forest. She is telling him about how backward the village is, the old man doesnt even wear shoes and the lack of education. Just then they hear the sound of a man who is hung upside down from a tree and being beaten by three men. Shree rushes to the place where she hears the screams, followed by the old man who warns about investigating the matter. By the time they reach there, the three men have left. Shree is shocked and wants to untie the prisoner, but the old servant says this will lead to trouble. Without listening to him, she unties the man who runs off after thanking her. While Shree and the old servant are standing there, they hear a shot and rush out to see the prisoner dead surrounded by the three men earlier. Shree yells at them but the three men quickly run off.

Shree returns home and wants to return to Chennai at once because she is horrified by the happenings in the village. Her husband Mohan is happy. But just then, his mother comes in and threatens to cut family ties with them if they leave on the eve of the ceremony. Shree persuades her husband to stay, saying he doesn't need to play an active role in the ceremony.

That night, Shree hears the sound of "kollusu" jingling. She goes out to the balcony and sees a goddess (presumably Mookambikai Atha) who laughs at her. Shree runs back to her sleeping husband and tells him to come out and look. By the time Mohan comes to the balcony there is no one in sight and he tells her she must have been dreaming. When Mohan goes back to sleep, Shree hears the "kollusu" again and rushes out. This time she sees the Goddess who is again laughing at her.

Next morning, Shree, Mohan, his parents and uncle go to the Temple. When the priest tells Mohan to change and prepare for the ceremony he says he doesnt want to participate in this ceremony and leaves the temple with Shree. Mohan's mother goes to the door of the shrine and begs Atha to forgive her son for his conduct. Her brother says it is too late for regrets.

Back at the mansion, Mohan refuses to listen to Shree's protests and orders her to go and pack their bags as they will leave for Chennai at once. Shree goes upstairs alone, leaving Mohan who suddenly hears Shree scream. He rushes upstairs and discovers his wife's body on the floor with blood running from her nose. He tries to wake her calling out her name but there is no response ...

ok, sorry for not coming to the hub for the past few weeks. I haven't had my laptop with me, and i have finally gotten it back. so I see someone else posted an episode of amr. Ok, so far for the past couple weeks, nothing much has happened. Shree dies, and her death is still a mystery. Mohan is very upset, but after listening to an old man who gives him courage, Mohan shaves his head as part of the ritual when someone's wife dies. He then hears voices of Shree, so he goes to the burial site where Shree is buried, but Gopal (the village headman's son) takes him back to the house. Then the village headman's house asks his daughter to come back to the pannakad, because Mohan's wife died. The daughter has a man friend, I dont think its her boyfriend, but the daughter wishes him happy birthday, and says I have to leave urgently to the pannakad. the man says come and visit me on the way, and then leave to the pannakad. the man is an engineer, and he is working at a construction site, he then comes across a kilijoshiyar(a fortuneteller who uses parrots to tell fortunes). the kili takes a picture of Kali, and says whoever gets this picture dies, and gives a shock to that man. Then the man almost dies but the daughter saves him, as some bricks almost falls on him. Then the daughter goes to the pannakad, and there her father is already planning to get her married to Mohan, but she refuses. Then, Mohan still upset and baffled by his wife's death, asks his friend from the city to come to the pannakad, he is a doctor, and they are planning to dig out shree's body, and take it back to the city to do an autopsy to find out what went wrong with her. Mohan is trying to take revenge, and find answers to how his wife died. Shree's paretns are upset, and returning back to the city, and Mohan promises them, they will bring shree's body to them, and give her proper rites. Nothing else happened so far, the serial is just getting interesting now, the past episodes were all lengthy, and nothing much happened. I will keep updating, please post comments.

Mohan is in the Hospital and taking treatment after the accident and his relatives all are standing around him. When he gets concious he is blaming his uncle for murdering his wife instead of blaming that god has punished her. He says he will find out all the Mysteries in pannakadu and will bring all the things to light. Then his uncle is trying to act that since he got injured in the head probably he is out of his mind.

Then the police appears in the scene and Mohan is asking other than the Ezhumalai's body was there Shree's dead body and they say no. Then he says he was bringing her body back for post motem. He says also Otha panai (vettiyan) was dead on the accident spot. Then his uncle says if you want to check out whether the burried Shree's body still there or not we shall go there and find out.

Everybody is coming to the grave yard where they burried Shree's body and he calls the Otha panai and he appears in front of them and Ande is making statement saying how come he is alive when Mohan said that he is dead. Then he is asking him to dig the place where they burried Shree and he digs that out. Then Ande calls police inspector and Mohan to come and check the body the both sees the burried Shree's body was inside. After seeing this Mohan gets fainted and was taken back to home.Later police apologize for not trusting Andey. Andey says our god punished that Ezhumalai coz of being dishonest to the society and we put his dead body in a place where all the eagles will come eat.

The lover of Raani goes and meets her. She says please don come and see me for god sake or else you will also be dead like Ezhumalai. He says ppl living here all are making use of God's name and killing ppl like that. He says i cannot keep myself from not seeing you. I will come and meet you.

Andey comes to home and Mohan is in half concious. Mohan's mother, who is sister of Andey tells that we came here with lots of joy and expectations and things turned totally different. He also tells he thought of making his daughter get married to Mohan if he is in a good mind set. But now things are different. He advises his sister to leave panna kadu be back to their place. He also tells not to come back to Panna kaadu. He asks his son to go with them for sending them off and Mohan was moved from the home and he says inside the heart that he will go now and come back later. Andey's daughter asking him permission to go back and continue her study and he agrees to that.

Later Andey goes back to his uncle(periyappa) and tells him that somehow he made everybody of his sister's family to leave back home. The old man who is applying oil says that wat you think? do think it is an end to all the troubles? come with me he says? Andey follows him to a room where in he shows the ancient type of picture of both Shree and Mohan and asking do you know who these people are? and he says its Gangamma and Puliyan. He also shows another one Munivar's picture. He says that time itself this munivar told that Gangamma and Puliyan will take re-birth again and will come back alive. Somehow i managed to kill Gangamma and this Puliyan has escaped from me. I want finish him also off and Andey replies saying he is my own sister's son he says even your sister also became enemy of me as she has given birth to him.

Then old man and Andey comes out far from the Pannakadu and Andey asks why he asked him to drive so far from the village. Then he says see here. Otha Panai (Vettiyan) appears in pant and shirt with shoes looks formally dressed. Thodarum......

Looks like in the previous episode he managed to take the Shree's body out from the place where they burried her with the help of EzhuMalai (Coolie) and his Doctor friend. In the accident Ezhumalai was dead and only Mohan happens to be alive. (They took the Shree's body back and burried in the same place i think).

I've summarised the rest of episode and updating. May be bit too long..

Andey is saying that Otha panai has already died on the same day, he is some1 else who is my right hand. Andey is asking the new Othapanai, Did you bring what I've asked you to bring? then he shows a box and says here it is. Then Andey admires his talent and goes back to Andey's house.

At andey's house mohan's uncle looks puzzled and was thinking what could be there inside the box kind. Then Andey says the one inside the box is thumb finger of Shree, and I want to see Naadi jothidam for this finger and find out more details from the Valluvan(Naadi Jothidar).

Three of them goes to the Naadi Josihyar. Andey asks Mohan's Uncle and his body guard to stay out and he goes inside the Astrologer's house. Asking him to find the Olai Chudadi for the finger print. He takes out the Naadi joithidam for the same and says this is not Gangamma's finger print. This is her sister's finger print and gangamma is still alive (she is twin sis of Shree). He says, She would come back and take revenge on you. You cannot escape from Gangamma and Puliyan. During those olden days you were basically a horse ridder and killed people for Jamin treasure. Now Time has come back for you to go back to your old state and you will die. Then out of anger Andey says no one can touch me I will find wherever they are and uproot them completely.

Still he wants to make sure that there is no sister for Shree, so three of them goes to Chennai. Mohan's uncle asking Mohan's mom and dad to come and meet them in the Hotel. They also go and meet them and they are enquiring does Shree has got another sister. They are saying no and Mohan's mom showing his disappointment as to why they should stay in hotel when they have their house.

Later at Hotel Andey sending Mohan's Uncle to Shree's parents place to meet them and enquire about Shree's twin sister, who is re-birth of Gangamma. When he asks this question to her father she gets shocked and shouting at him saying why are you making confusion, she never had sister. He asks Mohan's uncle to leave house immediately as he gots frusted by this question. Once he left, he discusses with wife saying how come he comes and ask about Shree's sister who went missing when Shree was at the age of 3. Even Shree didn't know abt her missing sister how come they know??


Back at mohan's house, his parents were discussing as to why mohan's uncle should abt sister of Shree. Mohan gains conciousness and asking why were they here and why were they asking those details. At the hotel Mohan's uncle comes back and tells that her parents told to him that there was no sister for Shree. Andey is puzzled about this fact and thinking may be that Valluvan told me lie. Let us go back to him and find out what is true. Three of them travels back to Valluvan's village and Andey meets him at his house and telling that there is no sister for Shree.Valluvan says Whatever I said is true and you will happen to meet Gangamma with in 24 hours, If this doesn't happen I will give up my profession. Then three of them goes back to the hotel and resting. Meanwhile mohan's uncle gets curious and asking Andey's body guard abt who is he, why is he always behind Andey. He is telling since you are very curious i shall tell you very little fact. Andey has acquired lots of worthless treasure from old pannakaattu Jamin, he even killed them for this and the treasure is inside the temple like that and tries to hide the fact from him. Meanwhile both goes back to Andey and Andey says may be Valluvan is not correct again its almost night now still haven't met Gangamma. He added, anyway let us wait and see, if she happens to meet me before end of the day.

Back at Chennai Mohan is driving the car on the signal he happens to see the sister of Shree and he is shocked for a min and calls her saying Shree! Shree!! Shree!!!. Unfortunately he was stuck in b/w a motorbike and cars in the signal so he is not able to come out of car and he misses her in the signal.

Later Shree's sister comes to a hotel and trying to meet a Doctor, who is a writter to return some books to him. Accidently, she is mis-guided by the receptionist to the wrong room (donno if i should say to a correct room) where Andey is staying. Thodarum....


She goes and knocks the door and opens it up looking at Andey asking if the doctor is inside thinking that she is opening the correct door. Andey goes to the peak of the fearness and he is speechless after looking at her. She is keep on asking him if there is anyone else in the room and he is getting frightened more and more after looking at her. Meanwhile receptionist comes and tells her that she was mis-guided to a wrong room and the professor is staying in some other room. She goes from there. Andey was not receovered from the shock, meanwhlie telling to both of his people that just now i met Gangamma and she was here right infornt of me. Looks like she has taken another birth as Sithan said, Go and catch her he says to both of them.

Shree's sister meets the professor in the restaurant and says she feels happy to meet him and she has got some problem last few days she is quite often getting some strange dreams like a tiger is coming and some old village is appearing thos kind of thoughts. He also starts of saying yes I wanted to discuss with you, even I have seen you in my dreams just a couple of days ago. He says there could be many reasons for this could be due to your childhood memories or your olden days memory or your previous birth memory like that and they gets continued with their talks. Camera focuses the Entry door of resturant there comes Mohan... he enters into the restaurant and passes by Shree's sister but didn't notice her. Both of them gets to feel the difference inside them but donno what it is. He goes back and sits at one table parallely opposite to her but he faces the same direction as her and not noticing her. meanwhile he gets calls from his mom and goes back to outisde the restarautns and the signal was poor. He again comes in picks up his things goes back but missed to take his car key then comes again takes it and goes back again. Whenever he crosses Shree's sister they both feel some internal change in their mind state but not sure what it is. Shree's sister was telling to the professor that she just now also got the similar kind of distracting feel.

Back at Andey's place his body guard says could not locate Shree's sister. Then checking out the hotel Andey's body guard gives the car key to mohan's uncle then he says he is going to stay in chennai to find out more about Shree's sister. Then mohan comes to a shop to get some change and happens to see Othapanai in a full format dress. on the same way Shree's Sister rides her bike trying to cross the shop where Mohan is standing and there goes thrill in da form of trouble given by her bike. She is trying to start her bike nt she is also stuck there. But Mohan never noticed her this time also. Three faces framed inside the camera nicely and subtitle says Thodarum........

Thanks for the detailed update. I am glad that Devadarshini has made a reappearance as Shree's twin sister. I thought when Shree died that would be the end of Devadarshini's acting in AMR. She is a great actress, esp. as Valli in Annamalai.

It seems that Periappa hastily killed the wrong twin, and now he will be going after the other twin. So poor Mohan lost his wife for no reason: Shree wasn't the reincarnation of Gangammah in the end.

Next Episode

At the Phone Booth Mohan notices the Othapanai and making sure that he is the one by thinking back couple of times. Meanwhile Shree's sister's bike is getting started and she leaves the place. So, she was not noticed by Mohan. But mohan is trying to catch the Othapanai and he escapes from the place.

Mohan meets Shree's parents and asking about her missing twin sis and they are telling abt what has happened ( about she went missing wen she was 3)...Shree's father is telling if Andey is searching Shree's sister seriously means thr would be some danger for her. So, let us try to get her back in touch with us by an unique way.

Next day at shree's sister's step mom and father both are discussing with Shree's sister abt finding the original parents of her. She is un happy abt it and mean while her father shows the news paper that has got the advertisement of Orbitury of Shree and telling fews things if has to happen it will happen

Once he finished saying this Nandhini (Sister of Shree) doesn't seem to be bothered abt his statement and pushes of to the work.

Her father is telling to his mother that we must go and meet the real parents of Nandhini tomorrow.

Back At Shree's home her father is worried about the enquiries that was coming in after the orbitury column that was posted in the daily news paper. Mohan was surprised about the enquiry about it from his uncle as he resides in Pannakaadu how come he could get the news from the Chennai edition. He confirms with is Father-in-Law whether it is whether it was published only in Chennai edition. Shree's mom was doubting if his Uncle is still in chennai, Shree's father says he even spoke to mohan's Aunty as well and he tells that the new was published only in Chennai edition. He makes a guess saying since you have seen Othapanai in Chennai probably he would have seen the ad and told them abt this.

Suddenly there Shree's mom is coming back and saying there is some one at the gate wanting to see us regarding the orbitury post that we put in the news paper. Othanapanai notices that from the outside of house and leaves from the place.

Then they were invited into the house. They are step dad & mom of Nandhini, first they introduce themselves and Shree's parents were very happy. They say they want to see her immediately and her step father says its our wish too but the problem is Nandhini is not ready to leave us and come to you. On the same day you have lost ur daughter we also lost our daughter and she came as a replacement to her. Everything seems strange. She is a very misterious character, she always keep drawing some pictures which depicts the olden days art. She also draws a person's picture who just looks like him pointing finger at Mohan and says when he asked if she ever met such person in her life, she said no. Mohan is surprised to hear this.

Next day all of them going to meet nandhini, She is at home and doing some painting when Mohan enters into the house she feels the same distraction. Nandhini's step father invites them to have seat. Her step father says she doesn't have the mood to talk to you let Mohan come with me I want to talk to him. He brings him to the place where nandhini is painting and he leaves down to the ground floor. He goes into the room and another shock for him to see his picture in the form of villager in the art being painted by Nandhini. She turns back and sees him tears in both of their eyes, both of them don't know what is happening and Nandhini just gets fainted.

Mohan carry her and places down in the bed and shouts for help then every one is running to the upstairs and Nandhini's real mom is sitting near the head of Nandhini and crying with rights, Step father expresses his feelings in his eyes that they are losing their adopted daughter to her real parents. Later the Psychotic doctor comes home to return some books to Nandhini and the step father explains the situation then he goes up and checks then asking every one to leave to treat her. He sprays some water in her face and then asking her to remember who she is. He is keep on telling come on try you can re-collect, tell me who you are like that....Then her eyes turned out with anger expression and shouts loudly Gangamma and hearing this Moahn immediately runs to the upstairs sitting opposite to her closely and looking each other she says Puliya... Puliya and he says Gangamma gangamma....

Here's the synopsis of the last 2 episodes.

The flashback starts. Must have been 60 to 70 years back. There's a puli (tiger) in the area and the jamindar (gangamma's father) promises an award to the one to captures it. Puliya captures the tiger and gets the award (some land). gangamma and Puliya are lovers. Gangamma is the only child and heiress to the jamin. Her Morai Maman does not like her father giving away land like this and expresses his displeasure. The morai maman wants to marry Gangamma and she does not like him.

A samiyar comes and meets the jamindar and tells him that he sees a a lot of unrest and loss of peace in the area and asks the jamindar to erct temples for the saptha kannigal at the 8 corners of the village ASAP. They will gaurd the area. Puliya will be asked to go and get the selaigal for the temples from some sculptor who is in another town.

Gangamma is learning English from a foriegner. Her morai maman comes there and tries to talk to her. He is accompanied by his kuthuraikkaran. She insults him. His kuthuraikkaran comes to his support and she beats him with her slipper. Puliya is watching this and he comes and holds her hand as she cries. They see the Samiyaar watches this but he goes away without saying anything.

The saamiyar and the jamindar with a small troup of people go ariund the village selecting places for the temples and conducting poojas (one a day). As they are doing this they see an axe embedded in a tree. It has a olai attached to it that anounces a robbery. But the saamiyar says that once the selaigal are in place they will gaurd the village and nothing will happen and to hasten the process. The saamiyar also says that once the temples are erected poojas have to be conducted for one mandalam (48 days) without interruption to ensure peace.

Meanwhile the kuthuraikkaran tells the ande (morai maman) that he was the only one going around saying that he will marry Gangamma. Nether Gangamma nor her father reciprocate it and he better make sure before assuming things. They see the jamin treasurer passing by and they call him and ask him to list all jamin's assets as he is going to the furyre jamin and he should know it. The treasurer hesitates initially but does so and among them are a 1000 sovereigns of gold and a huge diamond. The ande and hs kuthuraikkaran want to see it and treasurer says he will not show it to the kuthuraikkaran. So the ande leaves him behind and goes to see the treasure. The ande is dumbfounded when he looks at the diamond and gives it back to the treasurer after a lot of hesitation. The kuthuraikkaran follows them and sees all this.

Here's what happened in the last 2 episodes in brief.

Puliyan goes and gets the selaigal for the sapta kannigal. The sculptor who had it had been worshipping it for the last 40 years and they were not mere selaigal but actual deities. They walk with Puliyan till they reach the jamin border and then they say they cannot be seen in the human form and disappear leaving the statues.

Meanwhile the saamiyar and the jamindar come there and erect the statues. When all of them have been placed, a man comes running and informs the jamindar that his son-in-law rajadorai (Gangamma's morai maman) has been killed and all the wealth including the huge diamond has been stolen.

They go back to the place and the jamindar gets very emotional. The kuthuraikkaran samathanapandi says that he actually saw the dacoit vanangamudi kill rajadorai and take all the wealth. [Actually the kuthuraikkaran was the one who did all this] He tried to stop them but he could'nt. He says he will go after him and bring him back with the wealth. The jamindar says if he can do that he will give his daughter in marriage to him with all the wealth. Puliyan asks if he can also try. The jamindar says it stands good for anyone who can capture vanangamudi. Puliyan and Samadhanapandi go in search of the daciot. The saamiyar gives puliyan some roots that would put the daciot to sleep to help him.

The jamindar then starts lamenting and says that as soon as the sapta kannigal were placed, it has brought him misfortune. So he will not do the pooja for one mandalam and asks the deities to go away. The saamiyar will try telling him that this was inevitable and the deities were here to stop what is to happen in future. He also says that vanangamudi was not the perpetrator of the deed and that the jamindar will understand everything once puliyan brings back vanangamudi. But the jamindar just keeps repeating the same thing asking the deities to go away. He then asks the saamiyar also to go away.

The saamiyar goes away dejected and is meditating on a riverside. the sapta Kannigal will appear before him and tell him that they cannot remain where they are unwanted and they have to leave and nothing can now stop what is to happen. They will come back after 50 years. The saamiyar tries to change their minds in vain and they leave.

Puliyan goes to vanangamudi's hideout. The daciot is seen with a treasure box next to him. Puliyan uses the roots given by the saamiyar on the dacoit and puts him to sleep. he tries to open the treasure box with the keys on the daciot to check if they contained the jamin sothu. But he is not able to do so and the daciot now in a stupor tells him that he will never be able to open it. Puliyan ties the treasure box to his horse cart and also carries vanangamudi to it. He then heads back to the jamin.

When he is at the village border near the headstone raised in remembrance of puliyan capturing the tiger, samadhanapandi shoots him. he then dismantles the head stone and throws it into a snake pit and takes the horsecart with him. Puliyan just before he dies puts the keys to the treasure box also into the snake pit without the knowledge of samadhanapandi and says he will definitely take revenge in his next birth.

Samadhanapandi then goes to the jamindar and tells him he captured the daciot and gives the diamond and part of the gold back to him (which he himself had stolen). The jamindar says he can marry his daughter as promised and become the future jamin. he then asks about puliyan. Samathanapandi says that puliyan was killed by the daciot. Gangamma is shocked.

I was not able to watch the episode the week before last. Here's the sysnopsis of last week's episode. I missed the first part of it so I may miss some details.

The flashback is over. Mohan (Puliyan back then) and Nandhini (Gangamma then) now realise that Shree was killed by Andey as he mistook her for gangamma's rebirth. The Psychiatrist now says he has two questions - what happened to the anandha sidhar, and what happened to the 7 keys to treasure box- Are they still in the snake pit. (From what they talked it seems like the treasure box is inside the closed temple. I may be wrong) I think Mohan and Nandhini say this can be known only if they go back to the village.

Back in the village the village priest's son goes to meet his girlfriend and she is afraid to talk to him as she belongs to a different caste and this would not be approved by the atha and some harm would befall the priest's son. They talk for some time and priest's son then leaves for home. On his way he sees that milk is falling off of a withered tree (Miracle 1). People start gathering and wonder at the miracle. Another villager says that in another corner of the village a barren tree suddenly started flowering (Miracle 2).

The priest's son then starts walking home. On his way he sees a farmer struggling with his plough that gets stuck. The farmer asks him for some help and they manage to dislodge it after some struggle and they find a potful of gold underneath (Miracle 3). The farmer takes it away.

Meanwhile the priest's son's girlfriend sees him again and asks him what he was doing there. He explains the three miracles he witnessed/heard. His girlfriend in turn says that the same day a boy who has been dumb since birth suddenly starting speaking fluently (Miracle 4). And in another part of the village a trishul suddenly emerged from the ground (Miracle 5). As they are pondering over it a passerby stops by and tells them he personally saw a snake dancing on a bull's head not far from there (Miracle 6). And that he heard a water fountain suddenly appeared out of nowhere in some other part of the village (Miracle 7). They all start discussing what these 7 miracles occuring on the same day could mean.

Meanwhile Anandha sidhar now with a long white beard walks into the village.

When he is told about the 7 miracles he then says the saptha kannigal have returned after a full life cycle of 60 years and peace will then reign at the village. Meanwhile the village bodyguard finds him and tries to attack him, the sidhar paralyses his hands and asks him to go his master and inform him of his arrival.

At Mohan's periappa's (MP) house, the village bodyguard comes in and informs him about the sidhar. Meanwhile the sidhar walks in and asks him why the temple doors are closed. MP explains that it has been closed since he knows about it and is surprised that it was open before his time. The sidhar does not call him ayya and so MP speaks very rudely to him and asks him how can he address the jamin without any respect and MP’s son tries to hit the sidhar with an iron bar but it turns into a flower bouquet. The sidhar then says that he does not belong to the jamin paramparai as he thinks but to a kuthuraikkaran's. And he says that his family will face death for all the atrocities done and it is their destiny.

Meanwhile the otha pannai's twin (OP) goes and meets Ande (the old guy) and tells him about Nandhini and Mohan having met each other. The ande tells that he already knows about it and asks the OP to kill them both. OP in turn asks the ande for equal share in his property. Ande agrees and hands over the related legal documents to him. Ande is happy that OP has been fooled by the papers. OP leaves and meets MP on his way and calls him pangali. MP is surprised and looks at OP as he leaves.

MP meets Ande and tells him about the sidhar's visit and repeats whatever he said. Ande recognizes him as Anandha sidhar.

They repeat the scene where they show Mohan's Periappa(MP) taking to Ande where he tells him about what the sidhar told him - that they were from a kuduraikkaran's family, and they were destined to be some deaths in their family. But he does not tell Ande about the miracles that have been occuring in the village. MP then aks Ande about the Otha Panne (OP). Ande informs him that he has given away half the property to OP. MP is worried. Ande tells him we will worry about it if and when he comes back alive. MP then tells Ande that his daughter has left for the city with the driver. Ande tells him that he has made a mistake.

MP's daughter on her way asks the driver to stop at the pambu puthu. She gets down the car and prays in front of it. It's raining hard. On her way back to the car, she slips and falls on it. She finds the the headstone raised in remembrance of puliyan capturing the tiger and also the keys to the treasure.

At MP's home he is talking to his wife and son. MP tells his son that they dont belong to the jamin family. MP's son is shocked. He also says that Ande seems nervous with all thats happening and thats why he did not tell him about the miracles.

At Nandhini's home, both she and Mohan want to go to the village. Her parents do not want them to go but they don't agree. Nandhini says that she feels that Anandha Sidhar is still alive.

Andey's wife is informed by a worker about the keys her daughter found. She tells him not to tell anyone else about it, not even her husband. However, her husband and son both also know about it. The keys are with the daughter. The son calls her and asks her to bring back the keys to the village. However, her boyfriend encourages her to make a duplicate and give that to her brother. She tells him about her cousin Chandramohan and his late wife, Shree; she thinks Shree might have been murdered. The boyfriend says he has a feeling that Chandramohan will return to the village soon. She is worried for her boyfriend's safety because of what the Siddhar said. As they cross the road, they are nearly run over by a bus.
Meanwhile Andey is conducting a pooja. Siddhar is informed about the puja by some villager ... there was a dialogue here but unfortunately I missed it because I had to answer the phone :(
Siddhar laughs to himself in an all-knowing manner.

othai panai shows the document to his friend. His friend reads and laughs. pathirathai policeil kondu poi kaatinaal kolai kutram othai panai mel vizhum engiraan. thirudan thalaiyaari veetil olindu konda kadhai pole aagum. Othai panai shows the document to a lawyer. He reads the document and asks op whether he knows the content of the document. OP says in the negative and explains he does not know english. Lawyer translates into tamil. so and so from so and so place. nandini and chandramohan are trying to disturb the peace of the pannaikaadu and othaipanai is hereby directed to take steps to take actions to maintain the peace. If necessary he can kill nandini and chandramohan and in that case he would get half of the pannai assets. The lawyer says there is no signature or date or anything in that document. It is the work of some smart fellow and the person who has accepted the document is an distilled idiot. The lawyer also confirms with othaipanai whether he has killed or harmed the two people. Othai panai says no and is kind of mad at sandanapandian. He syas his boss is a bad guy but thought would not cheat him. Lawyer advises othaipanai to give up ideas of getting sothu and earn money by working.

Chandramohan working on computer and nandini comes with a determined look on her face. She asks chandramohan to call her by the name gangamma and wants to know why they are idle. They should be going to pannaikaadu and take revenge. Chandramohan is arguing/convincing her on how to go about it, psychiatrist doctor arrives. He thinks it would be better if a unfamiliar third party first went to pannaikaadu and studied the situation. Chandramohan mentions the thatha who seems to know quite a bit of the pannaikaadu history and happenings. The doctor offers to go to pannaikaadu and do the necessary. Chandramohan thanks him but the doctor is grateful for such an oppurtunity for him to study and research

CHandramohan goes to his house and his mom conveys his arrival to her husband with great padhaipadhaippu. Father does not understand the fear saying that it is only their son whose arrival was greatly awaited. Father meets theson and soon nandini joins chandramohan. Father is amazed and says she is the xerox ofshree their late daughterinlaw. Nandini is introduced as shree's twin and chandramohan says he has no time to explain nandini's presence. He packs his stuff and leaves.

Father and mother are seeing thenamboodiri in their house. Father says everything the namboodiir said has happened and want to know what will happen. Namboodiri rolls the chozhis and says their daughterinlaw shree's death was not natural. Father says he suspected it so. MOther defends her elder brother and father blames it on the old fox periappa. Namboodiri further says chandramohan is caught in his previousbirth memories. Father agrees saying that he has been saying his name is puliyan etc. Namboodiri also says that the there is another namboodiri staying at the pannaikaadu who is also a maandrikan. He has been doing poojas to protect the pannai bytying up the saptha kannigais. With the spatha kannigais around chandramohan can be saved. If the namboodiri is successful then nothing can save chandramohan.

A sswamini is praying and a young girl all dressed up sits in front of her. swamini asks about her she says her name is Lalitha and that she has come to play with the swamini. She also explains that usually 7 ladies take care of her and now they are busy so she has come to play with her

I did not watch the serial but just noticed that the director is not Naga anymore. It is someone by name C P Shanmukam. Does anyone know when this was changed or was it like this from the beginning?

Thought i wld update the last episode on Oct 16th... : (This is my first attempt...)
We just took Sun Tv connection last week, i am watching this serial after 6 months, so with the updates i read from the forum, i assumed certain characters....Pls correct me if anything is wrong:
I didn't see the episode number...but with the last update on hub, i feel there must be some episode(s) before this! Can anyone pls fill up the gap.. But anyhow here's the update :

The doctor (i guess!) visits the pannaikadu... and is taken to Andey's house by his servants. On his way to the Andey's house he sees some people burning 3 dead bodies.
At Andey's home, the son is holding a gun and thinking...his mother (Andey's wife) asks him to throw that and says that after taking this gun already three have died...and othai pannai has also ran away ....she is very worried that Police might come. Andey comes in that moment and asks her why she is scaring his son. He says that this place is like a fort.. no police cld ever enter.
At that moment a servant comes running and tells him that a new guy has entered their village and might be a police... as he says that he knows abt the three murders and also abt the murder of Shree...The servant exclaims that the new guy tells everything so exactly as if he saw them. He continues that the servants are bringing him to Andey's house but he came ahead to inform this! At that moment the guy (The Doctor..i guess) is brought in.

He introduces himself as a press reporter. The Andey's son once again confirms that whther he is not a police. The doctor says no but he threatens them that he know abt all the murders and about what's happening in their village...and that press is more powerful!
The Andey says he cannot win a reporter with words and tells him that he can visit the villagers and ask them directly abt their life...if anybody tells anything wrong, the reporter can write that in his news. Andey asks his son to take the reporter to the villagers.
The doctor says that since it is night he likes to take some rest and visit them in the morning. The Andey asks his son to take him to the guest house and do the necessary.
After they leave he tells his wife that when his son is with the doctor no villager will dare to say anything and also by now perriyavar wld have heard abt the new comer and wld take care of him. His wife warns him not to commit more mistakes ...and worriedly says that everything is happening like Ananda sithar told ...that so many deaths have happend.
Andey says ..like the sithar said if there are more deaths to happen then it wld be the reporter next!!

Next day, the son takes the doctor to meet the villagers... but they r scared of him and they just say that they are all fine and happy working for Andey. The doctor tells the son that he knows abt the murders and that the Andey is ruling the village as a dictator. He tells he wld like to meet the villagers alone and leaves.
On his way he meets an old guy and after learning that he is Sollamuthu...tells him that he was actually sent by Mohan, to meet him and parasuram(Hope the name is right). He also tells him that Mohan and Shree's sister are actually Pulliyan and Ganagamma. The old guy is happy to know all this. A blind man crosses them at that moment. Sollamuthu asks the Doc to stay still untill the man leaves. The blind man enquires who he is talking too...but Sollamuthu says it's nobody and asks him to go carefully. He then tells doc that this guy peeped thru' the key hole in the temple door and lost his vision. Solamuthu also tells him abt the miracles and Ananda sithar's arrival. The doc is excited to know this and wants to meet the Sithar. Sollamuthu says that we cannot see the sithar when we want....and that if he sees him he wld definitly tell him all this. He then shows the way to parasurams house and tells him he cannot accompany the Doc. The Doc says he wld meet Sollamuthu later and leaves. Ananda Sithar watching all this..pitys for the doctor and says..."paavam thaniya vadhurukaan! ellam vidhi(fate)"
When Nambuthari (guess so) and his diciples are walking thru' the village they hear the loud laughter of Gangamma!!!

Episode 30:
(i guess it's a couple of episode before the last one )

Othai pannai tries to kill Nandini by cunningly injecting poison into the 2 milk packets taken by the servant maid.
Inside the house, Nandini dresses herself with silk saree and jewels and wakes up Mohan. She tells him that she likes being Gangamma and not as Nandini. She also asks Mohan to behave like Pulliyan and be brave and take revenge.
The servant maid asks her whether she wants coffee...but Nandini asks her to just boil the milk and she wld have the coffee later.
7 ladies dressed in Red saree enter the house and they ask for some "Dhaanam" as they are going to Melmaravathur Temple all the way walking. They also ask for something to drink as they are very thirsty after walking so long.
Nandini goes into the kitchen and asks the servant to bring the milk in 7 glass. The servant does so and she exclaims over the fact that the milk is exactly enof to fill the 7 glasses full. No milk is left!
The 7 ladies drink the milk with some inbuilt meaning in their dialogues..( They seem to be the "sabtha kannigal" )
They then bless Nandini and leave the house. Outside the house they warn Othai pannai.
Othai panni goes to a Samiyar lady (he address heras aatha!). He tells her abt his failure to kill Nandini and asks her to bless him success in this. Aatha tells him that Nandini has the blessings of God with her and he can never succeed in killing her. She also warns him to leave his likings for property and to change. She also foretells that soon there wld be a death in the Andey's house itself. She warns him strongly that if he doesn't change his behaviour ...then even she can't help him!
Othai panni thinks abt what Aatha told...at that moment his friend comes in with an assignment to take off somebody's leg. But Othai panni refuses and says that he wld soon become the owner of Pannaikadu...and tell his friend abt the agreement he has. His friend then sees the agreement which says that if he kills Mohan and Nandini, he wld get half of panniakadu property. His friend laughs at his ignorance and tells him no way this agreement could get him property....becos if he takes this agreement to court they will only first enquire abt the murders and put him in jail!

This is the update for the latest episode I watched. Sorry, I may have missed out certain parts and it may not be in chronological order. Could someone please fill in any parts I may have missed. (Someone also please post update for previous Episode : 33)

EPISODE 34

The Namboothiri and assistants walk among the trees. They hear laughter and see the dead woman hanging from a tree. The priest says some manthrams and the hanging woman vanishes. They then meet the Anandha Siddhar. The Siddhar is worried and sad that the Namboothiri will offend the Goddess.

Othapanai goes to the holy woman (Atta) and asks for her advice. He tells her what happened when he returned to the Pannakadu. He also tells her that he had been unable to kill Gangammah and Puliyan as she had predicted. She informs him that the 7 Amman devotees who had drunk the poisoned milk were in fact the Saptakanigal. She advises him to stop committing sins and that to atone for his previous sins he should help those he had tried to kill (Gangammah and Puliyan) to succeed. He agrees and she blesses him.

Meanwhile, Periyappa is busy poking a needle into a doll meant to be Gangammah (voodoo??:)) Andey and Gopal visit him to give him the keys that Radha (Andey's daughter) had given them. Periyappa realises it is a fake and reprimands them for being foolish. He also scolds Gopal for killing two Pannakadu villagers instead of killing Othapanai.

Then he tells them they were also fooled by the so-called journalist, who was actually sent by Gangammah. He shows them the professor is tied up in a room. He says that the 'pooja' is proceeding well.

Meanwhile a village girl goes to wash clothes in the pond. On the way she meets her mother's friend who offers her milk from a tree: "Atta's milk". She drinks some and then continues on her way to the pond. She suddenly hear's a child's laughter ... the sound seems to be coming from beneath a tree ... she bends down to see...

namboodiri asks samadaanapaandi about thelocked temple. paandi refuses. He says he would find out with his powers. paandi threatens murder. THen paandi says another secret about the mandira protection. Paandi asks the namboodiri to concentrate on the saptha kannigaigal. thenamboodiri did not loook happy with paandi's attidue. namboodiri says vidhi is stronger and that it is not in favor of paandi. namboodiri talks the kannigaigal have got new powers. paandi says the kannigaigal have not had any pooja or anything and no one knows wehre they are.

someone is doing pooja to the aalamaram (where the saptha kannigaigal are. One of the namboodiris person sees it He comes and reports to the namboodiri. namboodiri thinks it may be the kannigaigal. paandi offers to go but then the namboodiri reminds him of the bandanam where he cannot leave the house.

namboodir and his disciples to go the aalamaram and look for the kannigais.

The other saamiyaarini (othaipanai aatha) hears a laughing sound. She looks around and sees ayoung girl all dressed up. She asks her the last time she gave one golusu and now? the young girl answers that she had 7 people to play with her and hands her another golusu. She also says the person who wears the golusu will get no harm. The little girl vanishes and othaipanai enters. He laments about his life and the saamiyarini says he needs to come to pannaikaadu with her as there is work. Othaipanai hesitates and then agrees.

aananda sidhar is waiting and sudalai and the poojaari's brother come ovber. They think it is a good day to get the kannigai's out and start doing pooja. They walk towards the aalamaram and then they see the namboodiri and his disciples looking around. They are stunned. sidhar uses his powers and says kannigais are not there. Namboodiris disciples also look around and say they cannot find the kannigais.

The kannigais are in a hut and the girl who found them enters the hut after looking all around. She says that hut was used for common padaiyalbut then it is not used now as the temple is closed. She talks to the kannigais. She offers flowers and light a lamp. SHe says she felt sorry for the kannigais being in the tree when they should be worshipped. She brought them over and would do the poojai that she knows. She leaves asking them not to be scared. After she leaves the kannigais appear and have a grin.

Previous weeks updates:

Andey's daughter becomes mad after seeing her lovers death... Her mother is very raged at Andey's Periyappa(Samadana Paandi) for all this and shouts at her husband and son. She asks them to atleast take her daughter to a nice Dr. But Andey says that he has to ask his Periyappa's opinion ....and so goes and asks him. The old man says that it is a punishment for her and tells him to leave her like that for some more time!

Andey's wife is very worried and scared of all that's happening in Pannai Kaadu and wonders why it is happening to them.
Ananda Sittar comes there and tells them that it is becos of the past mistakes. Andey's wife then asks him to tell in detail abt Gangamma....Just then Nandini comes in and queries as to who is talking abt her. The Sittar is happy to see her and asks Nandini to tell abt Ganagamma herself! After hearing the tragic story abt Gangamma and How samadana paandi has ruined her life and property Andey and his wife feel pity for her and they support her. Mohan also comes in at that time....and tells Nandini that she shldn't have come like this now! But the Sithar says that evrything is happening at the right time only!
Suddenly Andey's son behaves strangely and shouts that no one shld talk against his 'thatha'(Grandpa - Samadana Paandi).

Then in another epsiode:

Ananda Sittar shows Sudalaimuthu( the vilage oldman) the location of the sabda kannigal - under the Banyan tree. Tells that Gangama can fight against Samadana paandi only with the help of these godess. He asks the Temple poosari to do pooja to this tree daily. At a right time they shld take out the idols and place them in the temple. Till then this has to be kept as a secret. Sudalaimuthu and the poosari agree.
In another scene - A small gal visits the holy lady -'Aatha'...and asks her to come and play with her. The Aatha is confused and realises that it must be the Godess who must have come to her. Before she cld clarify, the little gal disappears leaving a "kolusu " (silver anklet).

I guess ...so far the updates where based on the Tuesday relay of the serial which lagged by 3 weeks than the actual Sunday telecast. Hence the small gaps and confusions inbetween.

But now with all the gaps filled ...we are up-to-date with the update!

So far...
The village gal who found the sabda kannigal...is blessed by them and is now in Jameen's house guarding them from the spell of the Namboothari! (Missed the parts how she got the blessings!) Puliyan, Gangamma, Chandra Mohan's parents, Andey's wife and daughter are all inside this house. The village gal restricts Puliyan and Ganga from leaving the house!

Meanwhile...Samadana paandi (SP) wills to even give 1/2 of the Jameen property to Namboothari for safe-guarding him against Gangamma!
But Namboothari refuses that and asks for 'Kallan' vanangamudi's Treasure Chest (The thief who was killed by Puliyan)!
Samadana Paandi happily agrees to that. But he warns Namboothari that it is very difficult to open the box...as it has 7 locks and also is guarded by the ghost of the kallan.
First of all the keys are lost and what they found from Andey's daughter were duplicate keys.
Moreover he flash backs that after bringing the treasure box from the kallan, he has tried to bring a key-maker to open the box. It so happens that he is the one who made that box. The key-maker tells samadana paandi that it is dangerous to open the box...as the kallan had told him that he wld guard the box even after his death and will never allow anybody to touch it. Just then they hear the laughter of the kallan's ghost. Samadana paandi kills the key-maker so that no one wld ever know abt the box. He also locks that box inside a room and the house is never used...and a person is put to guard the house...so no villager cld ever try to steal that box.

Namboothari (Nam) tells SP that all ghost will have a 'Mukthi' time. ...and since 60 yrs is over ....the ghost must have surely lost it's power and wld have calmed down. He then goes to the house to catch the ghost and take the box. But the ghost doesn't come to his control and even breaks the bottle that the namboothari brings to catch it!
The Nam gets scared and leaves the place! He tells SP that hereafter he is gonna do a different type of Spell. He asks his diciple to continue the Homam they have been doing and Nam changes to black dress and makes a cut in his hand and mixes his blood to the grains and calls out for some 'Avals'. He then sends them to kill the kallan.

Another village gal valli and her boy friend Pattabi (Temple poosari's brother) see Namboothari going to that house and they follow him. They see him leaving the house scared. So they go inside to see what's there!
The ghost gets inside Pattabi's body and commands Valli to bring Ganagamma and Puilyan. It also says that all this while it had waited for a body. Now he will have his revenge! It also asures Valli that once the task is over..it will leave the body. So there will be no harm to Pattabi!
Valli then runs to the Jameen house. . Valli explains to Puliyan, Ganagamma abt the kallan ghost! But the village gal stops her and says no one will leave the house.
She says that the namboothari has cast some magic spell on the entire Jameen...so if any of them leave that house...they will become his slave.
Just then Andey's daughter who is mad comes out and is attacked by the Aeval and is taken to SP's house! SP tells Nam that what is the use bringing these people..he wants Puliyan and Gangamma.
Nam tells that they will be surely brought and if they don't then they can use this gal for "Kanni bali".

Valli goes back to the kallan and says that Puliyan and gangamma can't leave the house...as Nam has cast spells. Kallan is astonished and asks whether the brave puliyan is afraid. valli tells that it is easy to fight an enemy face-to-face but if they attach thru' Magic spells then how can he fight? Kallan says that he will handle SP first. He then asks Valli to take the treasure chest and distribute all the jewels to all the Villagers. He then ties a rope around that huge box and valli pulls it to the village!

Aatha and othai pannai come to the Jameen....and they discover a small temple...Aatha thru' her Gyana thirusti finds that it is "Kuzhandai amman" - The kula deivam of the Jameen family. So now she understands who the small girl is ...who had been coming to her the recent days. It is this same amman who has brought them here! They hear a child laugh and follow that direction. The same small girl appears in front of them and asks them to follow her. They are taken to the hut where the sabda kannigal are kept. She asks Aatha to build temple for the sabda kannigal near the riverside. Amman tells them that she will soon send persons for help. Amman then shows a serpent and asks them to follow it. No magic will work in the path of this serpent. Aatha and Othai pannai take the statues and follow the snake.

In another scene...The little gal is sitting under a tree...Ananda sidar passes by ...and the child calls him. He wonders who it is and then learns the truth. The amman then asks the Sidar to go to the river side where temple is being erected for the sabda kannigal and to help them. Ananda sidar gets delighted and says that he has been waiting all these days for this to happen. Amman then tells him that she is going to go meet her Gangamma!!

Valli drags the box into the village...All the villagers are puzzled! The old man sonaimuthu questions her abt the box and guesses that it looks like kallan's box. She says yes and tells the villagers what the kallan told and asks the old man to share it to the villagers! Just then the blind man passes by and heariing the talks questions whats happening! When told he scares them all saying that the Kallan ghost must have given it with some bad intention and this box is not luck but trouble. Everyone gets scared.

Ananda sidar comes by and on knowing what happened tells them not to be scared. He tells them that all good things are happening. Sabda kannigal temple work has started....kula deivam has come now....and also the lost Jameen jewels have been found!
He tells them that they can use these jewels to decorate the Sabda kannigal. When the villagers try to pull the box....the ghost appears and laughs loudly and moves around the box!
Ananda sidar gets puzzled and tries to find out thru' his Gyana thirusti

The sidar finds out thru' his Gyana thrushti and tells the village people that it is not the kallan's ghost but it is the work of Namboodari! He tells them they can take care of the box later and asks them to leave it there itself.
Andey's wife is in the Pooja room reading "Devi Bhagavadam". Ganagamma (a) Nandini passes by. Andey's wife calls her to come in and join the prayer. Gangamma refuses and asks her how can she be so cool and read the Bhagavadam now. She also says that there is no God. One has to take care of the problem by themself. God will never come to help.
She recollects an incident from her past life......
Gangamma lights lamps in the kula deivam temple and prays. Puliya scares her and then asks her what she was praying. She tells him that she wished that Puliya should be her husband in all the Janmams. Puliya is very touched by this. Gangamma tells him abt her staunch belief in her kula deivam "Kuzhandai amman". She has never missed to light the lamps daily. Whenever she was confused ...she would close her eyes and pray ... and a flower would fall in her hand....to symbolize the amman's blessings!
So she asks puliya to do the same...to seek blessings from amman whether they will unite in marriage. Both have they hands open and pray. But to their astonishment a snake falls in Puliya's hand. Both of them are very puzzled...
Ananda Sidar passes by and tells them that there may be some hurdles ...but asks them to have strong hope on this amman. He tells Gangamma that since she has lighted lamps daily....it will surely help her...if not in this Janmam...atleast in next birth!
Nandini tells Andey's wife that she had believed what sidar told and trusted in God...but the God didn't help her. She questions If the amman cldn't help her then...how will it help now!
Puliya comes in and asks Andey's wife why Nadini looks dull. Andey's wife explains to him abt her disbelief. The village gal kAthayee tells them that a person would come soon to clarify all their doubts and confusions!
Just then the little gal (Kuzhandai amman) comes in and tells Gangamma that she will help her. It was all becos of her fate she met with such a tragedy in her previous birth. But now there are 7 people to help her. Gangamma questions her on how to believe all this. Amman says that she has no faith now. That is what is delaying her victory. When she was Gangamma she had full faith. But now she has ego and pride. Once she starts to believe in full faith and pray to Sabda Kannigal...then they will help her achieve her goal. She asks her to go to the river bed where the temple work is going on.....and the little gal vanishes!
Andey's wife exclaims on how to leave the house against Namboodari's AEval. Kathayee show the "kolusu" amman has left behind. She tells them that his will guard them from all evil power. They leave the house...but Andey wife's saree gets stuck in the couch and by the time she releases the saree and follows them...the other 3 are a bit ahead of her. The Nams Aeval catches her and she then goes to SP's house.
Nams on seeing her tries to find out what had happened...and sees Kuzhandai deivam laughing in Sabda kannigal temple...he gets shocked and tells SP that they are in big trouble.
