நீண்ட நாட்களாகவே எனக்கு ஒரு ஹாரர் படம் இயக்க வேண்டும் என்று விருப்பம்.ரசிகர்களை வெறும் பயமுறுத்துவது மட்டுமே 'ஹாரர் ' படம் அல்ல என்பது என்னுடைய கருத்து. ‘பிசாசு’ பயமுறுத்தும் விஷயம் மட்டும் இல்லை , மனதை வருடும் விஷயம் கூடத்தான்.

இந்தப் படத்துக்கான முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்கள் மட்டுமின்றி மற்ற சிறிய பாத்திரங்களுக்குக் கூட நான்கு மாதம் பயிற்சிக் கொடுத்து நடிக்க வைத்து உள்ளேன். மூத்த நடிகர் ராதாரவி மிகவும் முக்கியமான கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்கிறார்.
கதாநாயகி பிரயாகா கேரளாவைச் சேர்ந்த நடிகை. நடன கலைகளில் வல்லவரான பிரயாகா 60 அடிக்கும் மேல் உயரத்திலிருந்து ஒரு இரவு முழுவதும் பிசாசாகப் பறந்து நடித்த காட்சி பிரமிப்பூட்டும் எனவும் கூறியுள்ளார் மிஷ்கின்.

மிஷ்கினை எப்போது தேடிச் சென்றாலும் அவரது அறையின் புத்தகக் குவியலுக்கு மத்தியிலிருந்து முகம் காட்டி வரவேற்பார். பேச ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டாலோ அவர் உயிருள்ள ஒரு புத்தகம்... தற்போது அவர் இயக்கிவரும் ‘பிசாசு’படத்தின் இறுதிக் கட்ட வேலைகளை முடிந்திருந்த நிலையில் அவரைச் சந்தித்தபோது ‘பேசிக் ரிலேட்டிவிட்டி ஃபிசிக்ஸ்’ புத்தகத்தை அருகில் கவிழ்த்து வைத்திருந்தார். “ சூரியனுக்குக் கீழே எதைப் பற்றியும் கேளுங்கள்” என்று பேட்டியைத் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்...

திரைப்படத்தைத் திரை அரங்கில் பார்ப்பதுதான் அற்புதமான அனுபவமாக இருக்க முடியும் என்று நம்பும் ரசிகர்களைப் பற்றி நாம் பேசுவோம். இவர்கள் படம் பார்க்க வரும்போது டிக்கெட் கவுண்டருக்குள் கையை விட்டு, “ நாலு பாட்டு, அதுல ஒண்ணு குத்துப் பாட்டு. அப்புறம் மூணு ஃபைட், ஒரு காமெடி டிராக், நல்ல அழகான ஹீரோயின் இருக்கிற படத்துக்கு ஒரு டிக்கெட் கொடுங்க” என்று கேட்பதில்லை. டிக்கெட் வாங்கும்போதே இந்தப் படத்திலயாவது புதுசா வேறொரு வாழ்க்கை இருக்காதாங்கிற ஏக்கத்தோடதான் வாங்கறாங்க. பணத்தை நீட்டும்போதே எதிர்பார்ப்பு நிறைந்த பதற்றத்தை அவங்க முகத்தில் பார்க்க முடியும். ஒரு பாட்டிகிட்ட கதை கேட்க வர்ற குழந்தையின் உந்துதலோடுதான் உள்ளே வர்றாங்க. ஆனால் அவங்களை நாம தொடர்ந்து ஏமாத்திக்கிட்டே இருக்கோம். பாலாவைப் பாருங்க, பாலாஜி சக்திவேலைப் பாருங்க. காதல் படத்தை எப்படிக் கொண்டாடினாங்க... அப்போ இந்த ஆடியன்ஸை நீங்கள் எப்படிக் குறை சொல்ல முடியும்?
‘ஓநாயும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியும்’ ரிலீஸ் ஆகி ஓடிக்கிட்டு இருந்த நேரம், மதுரையில் என்னைப் பார்த்த ரசிகர்கள் கட்டிப்பிடிச்சுகிட்டு விடமாட்டேன்றாங்க. ஒருத்தர் என் காலைப் பிடிச்சுட்டு ஓண்ணு அழறார். முன்ன பின்னே தெரியாத என்னைப் பார்த்து “டேய் நாந்தாண்டா நீன்னு” சொல்லிக் கதறி அழறார். அது இந்த மிஷ்கினுக்குக் கிடைச்சதில்ல. அந்தப் படத்துக்கும் கதாபாத்திரங்களுக்கும் கிடைச்சது. எப்பவாச்சும்தான் நாம ‘சேது ’மாதிரியும், ‘சுப்ரமணியபுரம்’ மாதிரியும், ‘பருத்தி வீரன் ’மாதிரியும் கதை சொல்றோம்.
அப்போ சில மோசமான படங்களும் ஏன் ஓடுதுன்னு கேட்கலாம். ஏன்னா மக்களுக்கு சினிமாவைத் தவிர வேற பொழுதுபோக்கு கிடையாது. வாழ்க்கையில் அவ்வளவு மன அழுத்தம் அவங்களுக்கு. ஆயிரம் பக்க புத்தகத்தைப் படிச்சு ரசிக்க வாழ்க்கை அவங்களை அனுமதிக்கல. இதனால மோசமான படங்களை மன்னிக்கிறாங்க. அவங்க பெருந்தன்மையை இங்க நிறைய பேர் மிஸ் யூஸ் பண்ணிக்கிறதைத்தான் டாலரேட் பண்ண முடியல.

‘ஓநாயும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியும்’ படத்தில் நீங்கள் பங்குபெற்ற நேர்த்தியான குங்பூ சண்டைக் காட்சிகள் இருந்தன. குங்பூ மீது எப்படி இத்தனை ஈடுபாடு?
எனக்கு ஐந்து வயது. திண்டுக்கல் என்.ஜி.வி.பி. திரையங்கில் காலை பதினோரு மணி காட்சிக்கு ‘எண்டர் தி டிராகன்’ படத்துக்கு அழைத்துச் சென்றார் என் அப்பா. படம் முடிந்ததும் படம் எப்படிடா இருக்குன்னு கேட்டார். படம் சூப்பரா இருக்குப்பா என்று வியந்துபோய்ச் சொன்னேன். அப்படியே அடுத்த காட்சிக்கு, அதே படத்துக்கு அழைத்துப்போனார். புரூஸ் லீயை நான் ஒரு புத்தனாகவும் ஒரு ஜே. கிருஷ்ணமூர்த்தியாகவும் பார்க்கிறேன். பிறகு பத்தாம் வகுப்பு படிக்கிறபோது முறையாக ஒரு மாஸ்டரிடம் குங்பூ பயிலத் தொடங்கினேன். மொத்தம் பத்தாண்டுகள் இடைவிடாமல் தொடர்ந்தது பயிற்சி. மார்ஷியல் ஆர்ட், சண்டியர்களின் சாகசக் கலை அல்ல. அது வாழ்க்கை முறை. தமிழ் சினிமாவுக்குப் பெருமை சேர்க்கும் ஒரு மார்ஷியல் ஆர்ட் கதையை நிச்சயம் படமாக்குவேன்.

‘ஓநாயும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியும் ’படத்தை நீங்கள் தேசிய விருதுக்கு அனுப்பவில்லையா?
இல்லை. எனக்கு தேசிய விருதென்று இல்லை, எந்த விருதுமே வேண்டாம். எனக்குப் பெரிய விருதே தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்கள் தரும் அங்கீகாரம்தான். இங்கே படம் பார்க்க எத்தனை கோடி உறவுகள் இருக்கிறார்கள். அவர்கள் பார்த்துப் பாராட்டினாலே போதுமே. எனக்கு பாலிவுட், ஹாலிவுட், டோலிவுட் என எந்த வுட்டும் வேண்டாம். என் தமிழ், என் மக்கள் போதும். என் கலையை நான் விற்க விரும்பவில்லை.

கதைகளை காப்பியடிப்பதில் அலாதியான பிரியம் உண்டு என்று கூறியவர் நீங்கள். தற்போது இயக்கிவரும் ’பிசாசு’ படத்தின் கதையை எதிலிருந்து காப்பியடித்தீர்கள்?
அந்த மரத்துக்குக் கீழே போகாதே, நடு ராத்திரியில் எங்கும் அலையாதே பிசாசு வருமென்று அப்பா, அம்மா சின்ன வயதில் பயமுறுத்தினார்கள் அல்லவா அதிலிருந்து காப்பியடித்தேன். அதே அம்மா அப்பா ஒரு கட்டத்துக்குப் பிறகு பிசாசு என்பதே பொய், கற்பிதம் என்று கற்பிக்க ஆரம்பித்தார்கள் அல்லவா அதிலிருந்தும் காப்பியடித்தேன்... அம்புலி மாமாவில் வரும் வேதாளத்திடமிருந்தும் பைபிளும் குரானும் சித்திரிக்கும் பிசாசிடருந்தும் கொஞ்சம் காப்பியடித்தேன். தம்மபதத்தில் புத்தன் சொல்லிச் சென்ற ’அம்புலிமா’ என்ற கதையிலிருந்தும் கொஞ்சம் காப்பியடித்தேன். கொஞ்சம் ஷேக்ஸ்பியர், கொஞ்சம் டால்ஸ்டாய், கொஞ்சம் தாஸ்தயெவ்ஸ்கி என்று இவர்கள் சித்திரித்த பேய்களின் தாக்கமும் இந்தக் கதையில் உண்டு.

பிசாசின் கதைதான் என்ன?
சில வேளைகளில் மனிதர்களைவிட பிசாசுகள் நல்லவர்கள் என்பதுதான் கதை.
இந்தப் படத்தில் உங்களது நட்சத்திரங்கள், தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞர்கள் பற்றிச் சொல்லுங்கள்.
பிராயாகா நாயகி. கேரளத்தி லிருந்து வந்திருக்கிறாள். படத்தின் தலைப்பை மட்டுமல்ல ஜீவனையும் தன் தோளில் சுமக்கும் பெண். நாகா நாயகனாக வருகிறான். இவனது நண்பர்களாக அஸ்வத், ராஜ் என்று இரண்டு இளைஞர்கள். எல்லோருமே புதியவர்கள். தெரிந்த ஒரே முகம் அண்ணன் ராதாரவி. அவரை இந்தப் படத்தில் நீங்கள் புதிதாகக் கண்டெடுப்பீர்கள். தனது ஆன்மாவை இதில் நடிக்க வைத்திருக்கிறார். இந்தப் படத்தின் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று பி.சி. ராமிடம் சென்று கேட்டேன். என் மாணவன் வைட் ஆங்கிள் ரவிசங்கரன் என்னைவிடச் சிறப்பாக ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்வான், அவனைப் பயன்படுத்து என்றார். அவர் சொன்ன பிறகு மாற்றுக் கருத்து ஏது? ரவி காத்திருந்து தன் திறமையைக் காட்டியிருக்கிறார். அதேபோல என் அலுவலகத்துக்கு வாய்ப்புக் கேட்டு வந்தான் ஒரு இளைஞன். நான் கேட்பதற்கு முன்பே கீபோர்டில் வாசிக்க ஆரம்பித்து மயக்கினான். அவன்தான் இந்தப் படத்தின் இசையமைப்பாளர் ஆரோள். அதேபோல இந்தப் படத்தில் பிசாசு காற்று வெளியில் செய்யும் சாகசங்களைச் சர்வதேச அளவில் புகழ்பெற்ற சண்டைக் கலைஞர் டோனி அமைத்திருக்கிறார்.

வாழ்வின் இருள் சூழ்ந்த பக்கங்களைப் பேசும் கதைகள் மீது அப்படியென்ன காதல்?
காதல் என்பதே இருளில் கரைவதுதானே. ஆனால் நாம் வெளிச்சம் என்று சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம். தாயின் கருவறையில் நிறைந்திருப்பது இருள்தான். நீங்கள் கண்களைத் தருவது இருட்டில் இருப்பவனுக்குத்தானே? வாழ்க்கையின் முக்கியமான இடங்களில் அழுக்கு சேரும் இடங்கள் எல்லாமே இருள் சூழ்ந்தவைதான். இருள் சூழ்ந்த இடங்களின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை உணராமல் அதைப் புறக்கணித்துச் செல்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் அதை நான் என் லாந்தர் விளக்கு கொண்டு காண்கிறேன். அந்த இருளில்தான் இரண்டு தேரைகள் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. அந்த இருளில்தான் தாய்ப் பூனை தன் குட்டிகளுக்குப் பால் கொடுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. இருளில்தான் வாழ்க்கை ஒளிந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறது. இருளைக் குறித்து ஃப்ராய்ட் பேசிக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறார். எல்லா தத்துவ விசாரணைகளும் இருளி லிருந்தே தொடங்குகின்றன. இருளின் கதைகள் ந்மக்கு வெளிச்சத்தைக் கொடுப்பவை.

கண்ணீருடன் நின்ற என்னைக் காப்பாற்றிவிட்டார் பாலா: மிஷ்கின்

பாலா தயாரிப்பில் மிஷ்கின் இயக்கியுள்ள 'பிசாசு' படத்தின் டீஸர் வெளியீடு மற்றும் பத்திரிக்கையாளர் சந்திப்பு சென்னையில் நடைபெற்றது. (டீஸர் இணைப்பு கீழே) 'பிசாசு' படகுழுவினர் கலந்து கொண்ட இந்தச்சந்திப்பில் முதலில் டீஸர் திரையிடப்பட்டது. அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து இயக்குநர் மிஷ்கின் பேசியது:
"படத்தின் திரைக்கதை எழுத ஆரம்பித்ததில் இருந்து, என் கூடவே பயணப்பட்டவர் ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் ரவி ராய். இப்படத்திற்காக நாயகன் நாகா கடுமையாக உழைத்திருக்கிறார். 4 மாதங்களாக என் அலுவலகத்திலேயே தங்கியிருந்து நடித்தார். ஒரு சீனை 100 தடவை சரியாக வரவேண்டும் என்று திரும்பத் திரும்ப நடித்தார்.
நாயகி பிரயாகாவுக்கும் கடினமான உழைப்பு தான். இந்தப் படத்தில் அவர் தான் பிசாசாக நடித்திருக்கிறார். பிசாசாக தான் நிறைய காட்சிகள் இருக்கும் என்று சொல்லித்தான் நடிக்க ஒப்பந்தம் செய்தேன். 60 அடி உயரத்தில் ரோப்பில் தொங்கியபடி நடித்திருக்கிறார். தொங்கிக் கொண்டு நடிக்கும் போது பயங்கரமாக அடிபடும். அவருடைய அப்பா, அம்மா படப்பிடிப்பில் அழுவார்கள். நான் அவர்கள் பக்கம் திரும்பி பார்க்க மாட்டேன். இப்போது அவர்களிடம் நான் மன்னிப்பு கோருகிறேன். வேறு எந்த ஒரு நடிகையும் பிரயகா அளவிற்கு ரிஸ்க் எடுத்து நடிப்பது சந்தேகமே.
முன்பு இசையால் என்னை இளையராஜா மிரட்டினார். தற்போது இந்த படத்தின் இசையமைப்பாளர் ஆரால் கொரிலி அவரது பின்னணி இசையால் என்னை மிரட்டியிருக்கிறார்.
'ஒநாயும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியும்' படத்திற்கு நீங்களெல்லாம் நல்ல விமர்சனங்கள் கொடுத்தீர்கள். படம் பல காரணங்களால சரியாக போகவில்லை. அப்போது நான் கண்ணீருடன் நின்றதைப் பார்த்து என்னை அழைத்தார் பாலா. எனது கஷ்டத்தை கேட்டறிந்து உடனே தனது நிறுவனத்திற்கு படம் இயக்கும் வாய்ப்பை கொடுத்தார். அந்த வகையில், நான் கீழே விழும்போது, என் கையை பிடித்து என்னை காப்பாற்றிவிட்டார் பாலா" என்றார்.

The Ghost: As the movie kick starts, there were whispers all around; The usual Mysskin’s movie is shot through the darkness, extensive camera angles with just showing the actors' feet, a dreamy BGM and some psychotic murders. How about Pisasu? Well, the director creeps into the mind of a ghost, scares us with bits and pieces and then feeds us with the psychology behind the setting in a convincing way. Siddharth (Naga) is an upcoming violinist who comes across an accident, where a young girl dies. The incident leaves a scathing mark on him and he craves to find solace in vain. Mysskin’s magical touch with striking the emotions has always been enigmatic, and through the first few moments he touches the protagonist’s struggle with a loss. As we keep waiting to see the “Pisasu”, a few unpredicted events make Siddharth believe that his house is indeed haunted and as every other Horror movie he hires religious ghost busters, witch crafters to drive the evil spirit off his house. There is a sense of “Where is the story?”, “What does the ghost want? “ A number of questions unanswered through the first half. With that said, in the second half Mysskin switches to his signature thriller mode from horror, and then finishes off in grand style. The lesser you know, the more you are bound to enjoy it. What’s Good?: Mysskin’s love for human emotions and to portray the dark and moody side of it has always been a mystery to tell. To write off Pisasu as a supernatural flick would be a long shot, the movie captures the essence of a horror flick and shifts into an emotional drama without giving us the whim of the transition. In one word, remarkable direction! As any other Mysskin movie, the BGM and camera does wonders to the screenplay, adding rich whipping cream on the top of the story. Arrol is off to a dream debut and the opening song just sweeps our feet off. Ravi’s camera work is stunning, capturing the director’s intention intact. A shot from 40 feet off the ground is just enough to prove the cinematographer’s prowess. To call off Naga as a rookie would be far stretched as the actor looks tailor made for the character of Siddharth. Playing the troubled youngster, he displays the moody emotions spot on. Prayaga has little to offer as the film’s heroine, but does her part amicably. Radha Ravi’s role is an extended cameo and leaves us with a heavy heart. Why, What and how?: There isn’t much to point fingers at in Pisasus, nevertheless: 1. The movie’s crisp editing wraps it up in 114 minutes nevertheless the first half finishes without much impact. 2. A lot of scenes are ripped off from Hollywood movies, to quote one; the bedroom scene from Paranormal activity. 3. Though the script has room for scary moments there isn’t much spine chilling moments. In all Pisasu is an emotional spooky supernatural movie from Mysskin that simply doesn’t try to scare you, but surprises your imagination with unpredictable thrills. Verdict : Mysskin’s tryst with horror paves off Rating: 3/5

If somebody can emotionally validate the incoming of a ghost, that will be director Mysskin for you. Pisaasu is a horror film as promoted, but with a novel touch. The director once again proves he is gutsy and audacious to encounter the Pisaasu from the very first frame. If the intent of a film is to narrate a story, Pisaasu does it quite well.

Naga as the young violinist not only strokes the strings of the violin eloquently, but also proves his mettle as an actor. Prayaga, the beautiful ghost has very minimal portions in her original self, but sends chills down our spine with a Broadway like makeup when appearing as the ghost. Ravi Roy, the cinematographer has brought in the third eye to Mysskin's uncompromising vision. The shot-divisions, camera movement and the lighting not only set the mood but also deliver the scary movements. GoPro and the trademark low-angle shots of Mysskin dramatize events and compel us to have some undivided attention on the frames. Arrol Corelli’s violins are beautiful with his BGM rendering the right depth to the narration.

This Pisaasu does look ugly, but has a beauty within. Thanks to equally gutsy director like Bala, stories like Pisaasu are coming to the theatres. Pisaasu is not a star-driven film. It doesn't have foot-tapping numbers; it doesn't have force-fit humor; it doesn't have a hero who can dodge bullets. Pisaasu doesn't have glamorous heroines with flashy costumes; it doesn't have a racy screenplay but is elegantly engaging. All the knots and the questions in our mind are untied like a gentle breeze, only at the end, and thats what works for the movie.

Supporting cast, sound design, casting and the predicaments in the story are Pisaasu's lifeline. As with every Mysskin movie, Pisaasu too is technically strong. Though there are Mysskin's usual cliches, his satirical take on life is a delight to watch. Especially the instances where the lead actors are terrified.

Pisaasu is definitely fictional and one leaving the theatre satisfied with the story will depend on how he or she has conceptualized ghosts and to what an extent they are willing to be flexible with what they have conceived in their minds about the supernaturals. The love angle of the story, if at all there was one intended to be, is also pretty weak and unconvincing.

Watch it with patience and open mind, perhaps it might send you back home with a smile.

Plot: The movie opens with a reckless cab driver knocking off an unknown girl, played by Prayaga. Movie review ‘Pisasu’: Different from usual horror films - Deccan Chronical

Mysshkin, known for his offbeat subjects tries his hand for the first time at a horror thriller genre. Pisasu (Ghost) which has the signature style of Mysshkin has been produced by director Bala’s home banner B Studios. It may not scare you to death, but has interesting elements in it to keep you entertained.
The movie opens up when Siddharth (Naga), an upcoming violinist stumbles on an accident where a young girl Bhavani (Prayaga) is lying in a pool of blood. He rushes her to a hospital in a bid to save but she passes away holding his hand. Traumatized by the whole episode, Siddharth comes home with one of her slippers. From that day onwards strange things start happening at Siddharth’s house. He begins to feel a supernatural presence at his house and it is actually the ghost of Bhavani who holds on to Sid and chooses to stay and haunt him. He employs ghost-buster to exorcise the ghost but it vain. His mother comes to visit him but she meets with a freak accident at the bathroom. Assuming that it could be the work of the ghost, a frustrated Sid goes in search of Bhavani’s father (Radha Ravi) and pleads him to eliminate the ghost from his house. When his mother recovers, Sid realizes that it was actually the ghost who has saved her life. The ghost neither seeks revenge nor love, but why does it stay in Siddharth’s house forms the rest of the story.
Newcomer Naga as the lead protagonist (though in a weird hairstyle) has given good performance. Prayaga appears for a single scene as a human being, but we feel her presence throughout in the form of a ghost. Her handling of the awkward makeup and hanging from the roof most part of it warrants mention. Radha Ravi as usual delivers. It’s not a typical ghost movie with blood and gore, but what makes it stand out is Mysshkin’s treatment. There’s an inbuilt humor in Pisasu and one cannot but notice some of the typical (clichéd) characters that are associated with a Mysskin film in Pisasu as well. Ravi Roy’s cinematography is exceptional. Debutant composer Arrol Corelli’s BGM enhances the proceedings and he is talent to watch out for. The running time with less than two hours also goes in favour of the film. It is a different conceptualization of ghost and can be watched once for its novel experience.

ஒரு சாலை விபத்தில் அழகிய இளம்பெண் ப்ரயாகா அடிபட்டு ரத்த வெள்ளத்தில் துடிக்க, அந்தப் பக்கமாக வரும் நாகா உள்ளிட்ட மூவர் ஒரு ஆட்டோக்காரர் உதவியுடன் அவளை மருத்துவனையில் சேர்க்கின்றனர். அவர்களில் நாகாவின் கையை இறுகப் பற்றிக் கொள்கிறாள் ப்ரயாகா. மருத்துவமனைக்குப் போன சில நிமிடங்களில் அவன் கையை இன்னும் இறுகப் பற்றிய நிலையில், 'ப்பா..' என்ற ஒற்றைக் குரலோடு அவள் உயிர் அடங்குகிறது. பிசாசு விமர்சனம் ப்ரயாகாவின் தந்தை ராதாரவியிடம் உடலை ஒப்படைத்துவிட்டு மனசு முழுக்க பாரமாய், அவளின் ஒற்றைச் செருப்பை நினைவாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டு வீட்டுக்கு வருகிறான் நாகா. கவலையைப் போக்க மது அருந்த முடிவு செய்து பாட்டிலை எடுக்கிறான். முதலில் ஓபனர் காணாமல் போகிறது.. அடுத்து பாட்டில்கள் தாமாக உடைந்துவிடுகின்றன. தன் வீட்டில் அமானுஷ்யம் இருப்பதை உணர்கிறான் நாகா. அது இறந்துபோன ப்ரயாகாவின் ஆவிதான் என்பதை அடுத்தடுத்த காட்சிகளில் தெரிந்து கொள்கிறான். அடுத்து அந்த பிசாசை விரட்டும் முயற்சிகளில் இறங்குகிறான். விரட்டினானா? ப்ரயாகா பிசாசாகக் காரணமானவனைக் கண்டுபிடித்தானா? என்பதெல்லாம் திரையில் பார்க்க வேண்டிய சமாச்சாரங்கள். படம் நூறு சதவீதம் பிசாசு சம்பந்தப்பட்டது என்பதால், பிசாசின் உருவம், நடமாட்டம் போன்றவற்றில் லாஜிக் பார்க்க முடியாது. பிசாசைப் படைப்பதில் அவரவருக்கு ஒரு பாணி! ஆனால் படம் முழுக்க மிஷ்கினுக்கே சொந்தமான க்ளீஷேக்கள் அனைத்தும் காணக் கிடைக்கின்றன. முன்பக்க முடி பாதி முகம் மறைத்தபடி, ஒருவித சைக்கோத்தன்மை யுடன் ஹீரோ, சற்றும் இயல்பில்லாத பாத்திரங்கள், சண்டைக்காட்சி, காமிரா கோணங்களை, பழகிய மனநிலையுடன் கடந்து போக வேண்டியிருக்கிறது. காரைவிட்டு இறங்கி மாடிப்படிகளேறி, கதவை சாவி போட்டுத் திறந்து, விளக்கின் பொத்தான்களை அழுத்தி, உடை களைந்து, குளித்து, இருக்கைக்கு வரும் வரை அந்தக் காட்சியை அசாதாரண நீளத்துடன் காட்டுவது என்ன வகை காட்சியமைப்போ... இதுபோல பல காட்சிகளில் நீ...ண்ட விவரணைகள் ஆயாசம் தருகின்றன. பிசாசு விமர்சனம் ஆனால்... மிஷ்கின் எடுத்திருக்கும் சில காட்சிகளில் மனசு நெகிழ்ந்து கண்ணீராய் வழிகிறது. அந்த அன்பும், பரிவும், மனிதாபிமானமும்தான் இந்த வாழ்க்கையை நகர்த்தும் பெரும் சக்தி. ஆரம்பக் காட்சியில் மருத்துவமனை நடையில் தூரத்தில் தெரியும் ராதாரவி, 'அய்யோ மகளே.. பவானி, என் சாமி..' என கதற, உள்ளுக்குள் நாம் உடைந்து போகிறோம். பெரிய நுட்பமெல்லாம் அந்தக் காட்சிக்குத் தேவைப்படவில்லை. அடிநாதமாய் ஓடும் அன்பின் வெளிப்பாட்டைத் தவிர.. அதேபோல, தன் மகள் பேயாய் உலவும் வீட்டுக்கு வரும் ராதாரவி, மகளின் பிசாசு ரூபம் பார்த்து கதறியழ, மேலிருந்து மகளின் கரங்கள் இறங்கி வந்து அவர் தலையையும் முகத்தையும் தடவிக் கொடுக்க... பெருங்குரலெடுத்து 'என் மகளே.. தெய்வமே.. வீட்டுக்கு வந்துடும்மா.. அடுத்தவங்களுக்கு தொந்தரவு தரலாமா?' என்றெல்லாம் அவர் கதற.. அங்கே கலங்காத கண்கள் மனிதருடையவையாக இருக்காது. அத்தனை நெகிழ்ச்சி. ராதாரவி நடிப்பில் புதிய பரிமாணம் இது. அலட்டிக் கொள்ளாமல் கலங்கடித்திருக்கிறார். பிசாசு விமர்சனம் ஹீரோவாக வரும் நாகாவின் முகத்தை கடைசி வரை சரியாகப் பார்க்க முடியாதபடி முடி மறைக்கிறது. அதில் ஏதாவது குறியீடு வைத்திருக்கிறாரா மிஷ்கின் என்பது தெரியவில்லை. ப்ரயாகாவுக்கு மிக அழகான முகம். அந்த கண்களும் உதடுகளும் ஏதோ சொல்ல வருவதைப் போன்ற தோற்றம். கொஞ்சமே வந்தாலும் நிறைக்கிறார் மனசை. மற்றெல்லாரும் சிறுசிறு வேடங்களில் வருகிறார்கள். நிறைவாய் செய்திருக்கிறார்கள். வேறு பிரதான பாத்திரங்களே படத்தில் இல்லை. ஆனாலும் கடைசி காட்சி வரை ஒரு எதிர்ப்பார்ப்புடன் படத்தை நகர்த்திச் செல்வதில் வெற்றி கண்டுள்ளார் இயக்குநர். அந்த 20 நிமிட க்ளாமாக்ஸ் காட்சி எல்லோருக்கும் புரிய வேண்டும். ஆட்டோ ட்ரைவருக்கு நிறக்குருடு என்பதை இன்னும் சற்று நேரடியாகச் சொல்லியிருக்கலாம். பேயை விரட்ட வரும் ஆவி அமலாவின் டுபாக்கூர்தனங்களைக் காட்சிப்படுத்தியிருப்பதில் மிஷ்கின் வெளிப்படுத்தியிருக்கும் 'சர்காஸம்' புன்னகைக்க வைக்கிறது. எடுத்தது பேய்ப் படம் என்றாலும், தன்னால் முடிந்த ஒரு பகுத்தறிவுப் பிரச்சாரத்தை வைத்திருக்கிறார். பிசாசு விமர்சனம் ரவி ராயின் கேமராவும், அரோல் கொரோலியின் இசையும் படத்தின் பெரும் பலம். தேவையான காட்சிகளில் மட்டும் இசை. மற்ற நேரங்களில் மவுனம். மிக அழகாகச் செய்திருக்கிறார். படத்தில் இடம்பெறும் அந்த ஒற்றைப் பாடலில், வரிகளை விட வயலின் இசை மனதைப் பிசைகிறது. வெல்டன்! கமர்ஷியலாக வெற்றியைப் பார்த்தாக வேண்டும்... வேறு வழியில்லை, இருக்கிற பேய் சீசனைப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ளலாம் என முடிவெடுத்து மிஷ்கின் தந்துள்ள படம் இந்த பிசாசு. பார்ப்பவரை நடுங்க வைக்கும், மிரள வைக்கும் பிசாசல்ல இது... பேரன்பும் பெரும் கருணையும் கொண்ட பிசாசு!

வஞ்சப்புகழ்ச்சி என்றே தோணுது. மிஷ்கின் போன்ற பன்முக படைப்பாளி ஐம்பது நூறு வருடம் கடந்தும் பேசப்பட கூடியவர். மாற்று சிந்தனையை படைப்பாக்கத்தில் பயன்படுத்தி வெற்றியும் கண்டவர் ( வணிக வெற்றி அல்ல நான் குறிப்பிடுவது..) மேலே பதியப் பட்டுள்ள மதனுடனான விமர்சன உரையாடலை பார்க்கவும். இந்த அளவுக்கு ஆழமாக கதை, திரைக்கதைக்குள் பயணித்து பேசக் கூடிய ஒருசில இந்தியப் படைப்பாளிகளும் இவரும் ஒருவர்.

doing my best to take IR's music to the right platforms - I have my limitations - with my limited extra time, I do what I do for IR's music coz, I sincerely genuinely feel/convinced that IR is a true genius living amongst us (even this afternoon, listening to 'malarey malarey' from 'unn kannil neer vazhindhaal' in a darkened room with rain outside was an ethereal experience!).

few months ago, I showed Nandalala to my parents (who have not seen tamil films for a while) - my parents could not stop talking about the film - they were all praise for the film's portrayal of innocence, and the yadhaartha vaazhkai characters depicted artistically. both of them couldn't believe when i told them that the director/scriptwriter/actor were all one person - Mysskin!

give Tamil cinema another few years - the big star image driven status will change - ppl will lose interest in punch dialogs and nonsensical scripts - makkals cannot be cheated forever

Let me cut the long story short. We are talking about real money. It is not like taking our relations for a movie or persuading them to watch a movie. It is about spending thousands of dollars in an effort to screen the movies. If you feel, a particular movie hasn't released, please invest your time, money to do so. Let me remind you that most of the people releasing the movie do that on loan. It is not the problem of the distributor. If you have real interest, nothing stops from getting a loan.

’பிசாசு’ படத்திற்கு அனைத்து தரப்பிலும் நல்ல வரவேற்பு கிடைத்தது. மேலும் தெலுங்கிலும் ‘பிசாச்சி’ என்ற பெயரில் வெளியாகி ஹிட்டடித்துவருகிறது. சமீபத்தில் படத்தின் வெற்றிக் கொண்டாட்டம் கூட நடத்தினர்.


தற்போது தனது அடுத்த படத்திற்கான கதையில் மிஷ்கின் பிசியாகிவிட்டார். இந்த படத்தில் சரத்குமார் நடிக்க இருக்கிறார். ‘சண்டமாருதம்’ படத்தின் மூலம் பேக் டூ ஃபார்ம் ஆகியிருக்கும் சரத்குமாருக்கு அடுத்த வாய்ப்பாக இது அமைந்துள்ளது.
