Christianity was introduced to India in 1st Century AD, and not in 15th Century when the Europeans came India.
Christianity first came to Western seashore of Southern India, in 52 AD.
Interestingly, Christianity was established in India long before it became a major religion of Europe.
It is said that Jesus himself visited India.
