The Suriya-Lingusamy film went on floors yesterday in Mumbai. We hear that the major portion of the story is set in that city and that it would be a Superstar Rajinikanth’s Baasha-like film. Suriya will also have two different makeovers in the movie, we are told. Lingusamy is also planning to wrap things up before March, it seems.


Samantha plays the female lead in the movie and the ace cinematographer, Santosh Sivan is also on board. The character roles will be played by Manoj Bajpai, Vidyut Jamwal and Rajpal Yadav. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score for the film and Thirrupathi Brothers is funding it.

சூர்யாவின் அஞ்சான் படத்தின் படக்கதை காற்று வழியாக கசிந்துள்ளது.
லிங்குசாமியின் தயாரிப்பு, இயக்கத்தில் சூர்யா நடித்து வரும் அஞ்சான் படத்தில் அவருக்கு ஜோடியாக சமந்தா நடிக்கிறார்.

முதன் முறையாக இயக்குனர் லிங்குசாமி முக்கிய கேரக்டரில் நடிக்கிறார். இதன் முதல்கட்ட படப்பிடிப்புகள் மும்பையில் முடிவடைந்திருக்கிறது. அடுத்த கட்ட படப்பிடிப்பு சென்னையிலும், இறுதி கட்ட படப்பிடிப்பு கனடா, சுவிட்சர்லாந்து மற்றும் நியூசிலாந்தில் நடக்க இருக்கிறது. சமந்தா இதுவரை இல்லாத அளவுக்கு கவர்ச்சியாக நடித்து வருகிறார்.

லிங்குசாமியின் வட்டாரத்திலிருந்து கசிந்த வரையில் படத்தின் கதையாக, சென்னையை சேர்ந்த சாப்ட்வேர் என்ஜினீயரான சூர்யா, மும்பையில் நடக்கும் ஒரு கருத்தரங்கிற்காக செல்கிறார். மும்பையில் தன் கண்முன்னால் நடக்கும் ஒரு தவறை தட்டிக் கேட்கிறார். அது சின்ன தவறுதான். ஆனால் அதற்கு பின்னால் மும்பையின் அண்டர்கிரவுண்ட் தாதாக்கள் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

தன் வேலையை முடித்து விட்டு சூர்யா சென்னை வந்து விடுகிறார். வந்த உடனேயே அவரது வேலை பறிக்கப்படுகிறது. அவருக்கும், அவரது குடும்பத்துக்கும், காதலிக்கும் முகம் தெரியாத மனிதர்களால் அச்சுறுத்தலும், பிரச்னைகளும் வருகிறது.

அவை எல்லாமே மும்பை தாதாக்களால் செய்யப்படுவது. அப்போதுதான் சூர்யாவுக்கு மும்பை சம்பவங்கள் நினைவுக்கு வருகிறது. அப்படி பெரிதாக எதுவும் செய்யவில்லையே என்று துளாவி பார்க்கும்போதுதான், மும்பையில் நடந்தது சாதாரண விஷயம் இல்லை நாம் வசமாக தாதாக்களின் வலையில் சிக்கி விட்டோம் என்பதை உணர்கிறார்.

முள்ளை முள்ளால்தான் எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்பதைப்போல தாதாக்களை சந்திக்க சூர்யாவும் தாதாவாக மாறுகிறார். இதுதான் படத்தின் கதை என்கிறார்கள்.

லிங்குசாமி இயக்கத்தில் சூர்யா, சமந்தா நடித்து வரும் 'அஞ்சான்' திரைப்படம் சுதந்திர தினத்தன்று வெளிக்கொண்டு வர அனைத்து ஏற்பாடுகளும் நடந்து வருகிறது.

லிங்குசாமி இயக்கத்தில் சூர்யா, சமந்தா, வித்யூத், விவேக் மற்றும் பலர் நடித்து வரும் படம் 'அஞ்சான்'. யுவன் இசையமைத்து வரும் இப்படத்தினை லிங்குசாமி தயாரித்து வருகிறார். யு.டிவி நிறுவனம் இப்படத்தினை வெளியிட திட்டமிட்டு இருக்கிறது.

மும்பையில் தொடங்கப்பட்ட இப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு தொடர்ச்சியாக நடைபெற்று வந்தது. இப்படத்தினை வெளியிட இருக்கும் யு.டிவி நிறுவனத்தின் தென்னிந்திய பொறுப்பாளர் தனஞ்செயன் தனது ட்விட்டர் தளத்தில் "'அஞ்சான்' படப்பிடிப்பு தளத்தில் இயக்குநர் லிங்குசாமியிடம் நீண்ட நேரம் உரையாடினேன். ஆகஸ்ட் 15ம் தேதி 'அஞ்சான்' வெளியாகும். பெரிய பட்ஜெட் படம் என்பதால் பணிகளை துரிதப்படுத்தி இருக்கிறோம்.

'அஞ்சான்' படப்பிடிப்பு இன்னும் 30 நாட்களுக்கு மும்பையில் நடைபெறும். அதோடு படத்தின் 80% படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்து விடும். ஏப்ரல் 14ம் தேதி முதல் மீதமுள்ள படப்பிடிப்பு இருக்கும்.

The dashing Suriya is currently busy with Anjaan and the team is working with a set plan to release the movie on August 15th, this year. Directed by Lingusamy and co-starring Samantha, Anjaan has Suriya sporting a really trendy hair style and beard. The Singam star recently spoke briefly about Anjaan

"I play a South Indian living in Mumbai and my character has some grey shades too. The new look will suit the character that I am playing. Lingusamy's screenplay and characterization are exciting. There will be a lot of romance and action in the movie, in line with the director's trademark style. We are currently in Mumbai and after completing work here, most of the remaining part of the movie will be canned in Hyderabad."

30 out of 500 cars destroyed for Suriya's Anjaan

We have some interesting updates about Suriya's Anjaan, which happens to be one of the most anticipated movies this year. The film directed by Lingusamy, promises to have some high-octane stunt sequences, choreographed by the renowned Silva Master.

The pre-interval stunt sequence was recently shot in Mumbai for a period of 10 days in the grand backdrop of 500 cars. 30 cars were in fact destroyed during the stunt sequence. The stunts would brim with emotions and would do justice to the script, we hear.

There are three stunt blocks totally in Anjaan and all the leading scenes to these stunts, would be powerful. In the next schedule, the all-important climax fights would be canned.

Anjaan is more than 70% complete already and it would be completed in the following one and a half months. The film gears up for a release on August 15, 2014.

Anjaan to release on August 15, music in July
Lingusamy's Anjaan is almost in its finishing stages. The director confirms that the movie will hit the marquee by August 15. Linguswamy says, "The film has shaped up well, and we are looking to release it on Independence Day. There is one more song left to be shot, and we will be filming it in Goa on June 8."

Giving out details, a source close to the unit says, "The song will be a proper romantic number, and will feature the lead pair — Suriya and Samantha. With this song, and a couple of scenes, the film will be wrapped up."

With the release date already firmed up, we hear the team is working to release the audio in July. The music for the film has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The source adds, "While the launch itself will be a regular affair, the trailer that the team is cutting out will grab eyeballs. Lingusamy wants the trailer to set the tone of the film, and his unit is busy getting the details in place. Dubbing work is also on, and Suriya will soon start dubbing his lines."

Shooting for Anjaan is over and as ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan rests at home, he talks to udhav naig about the challenges of filming and his upcoming Master class in London

Internationally acclaimed cinematographer Santosh Sivan is exhausted when I meet him at his house in a quiet, secluded corner of a gated colony in Chennai. The cast has just come off an injured left arm and he is back from Mumbai after wrapping up the final schedule of the Suriya-starrer Anjaan. He is staying awake on nicotine, but despite the obvious fatigue, he springs to life when I ask about the speech he is to deliver on July 11 at the British Film Institute as part of his Masterclass at the annual London Indian Film Festival.

“I don’t think they will be interested in technical stuff, you know?” he says. “I feel they are keen to know about where I come from — my early influences, the cultural reservoir I draw from, and what I bring to the melting pot in terms of cinematography and storytelling. I believe it would make for a good collection in the BFI archives,” he smiles.

The occasion is special for Santosh also because his first internationally acclaimed film The Terrorist premiered for the British audience at the BFI. He will be addressing viewers who have seen his work. And what image of Indian cinema will he want to project? “We have all kinds of cinema: both commercial and serious. Indian cinema is peculiar, just like Indian food. It’s unique — with dance and music — which is why Western studios and filmmakers find it difficult to penetrate the Indian market, as they have in Europe,” says Santosh.

With a number of critically acclaimed movies under his belt, he has also been associated with some of the most popular films of Indian cinema — such as Mani Ratnam's Thalapathi, Roja and Dil Se. Apart from the fatter fees, does he find it as satisfying to work in big-budget, hero-driven films as he does with smaller but more personal and intimate films?

“I shoot the big films because I get the money to shoot my small films. I do it because I don’t want to get bored. Having said that, Anjaan may be a commercial film, but it has its own soul. I like how an audience responds to a song, to a larger-than-life character on screen. As a kid, I grew up watching a lot of MGR films. I like these make-believe worlds,” he says.

Some of his best works have been a result of his collaboration with Mani Ratnam, which began with the iconic Thalapathi and continued with films such as Roja, Iruvar, Dil Se and Ravanan. What was it about working with Mani Ratnam that resulted in such great imagery? “When I was honoured for my work in Japan, they were all singing ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’. It is interesting. The thing with Mani Ratnam is that he pushes his peers to give their best. For ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’, we travelled by train to so many places in India and finally decided to shoot in Ooty — the idea being to create a song that reminds us all about our first train journey, you know, through those tunnels. And in Roja, for instance, a lot of images were written in at the script level. Even in the Kashmir sequences, the audience only sees the snow when Roja sees it for the first time. These things were written into the script. It is the director’s playground, after all,” he points out.

With so much emphasis on technology and gizmos, does he feel that young cinematographers of today are not focussing enough on the basics of the craft? “What cinematographers of my generation have learnt is to lead from the front and not imitate. You learn from making mistakes. We were taught that if a painter has to have a style, a cinematographer also has to have one. My grandmother always encouraged me to sketch. Doing that, I learnt to observe, re-imagine, recreate. She used to get Raja Ravi Varma images and illustrate the mythology from them. That’s how I started imagining these worlds. The more you become technically oriented, the more you become occupied with the specifications of the camera and lose the subject of the photograph. As someone said, the best camera is what you have in your hand. Just go out and shoot.”

Talking about the importance of a cultural reservoir, he speaks of how great artists reflect their cultural sensibilities. “In England, a shot of a telephone ringing is usually a classic still shot. Whereas cinematographers in the U.S. would incorporate gimmicks to film the same shot. It is all about the approach.”

While he does not believe in formal education, he still prescribes it for the simple reason that you can share ideas about cinema. “The biggest advantage of a film school is that you meet people interested in cinema and people from various cultures. When I studied at the Pune film institute, there were students from Vietnam, some of whom had fought the Americans. It was fascinating to learn about them. But no institution can teach you anything, you can only learn what you want to. What is in the books is already there on the Net.”

Unlike many cinematographers and filmmakers of his generation, Santosh is not too sentimental about digital cinema taking over the traditionally preferred ‘film’, although he does miss it. “Most of them have shot on film all their life. There are certain advantages of shooting on film, but ideally all cinematographers should use a combination of film and digital. Thuppakki was one of the first big films in which I used a digital camera. But I used it because it was needed: a lot of sequences were shot on the roads and we had to use hidden cameras and not too many lights. So, it should be based on what the film warrants,” he says.

He describes his next film Anjaan as a challenge. Why? “This was also shot in Mumbai (like Thuppakki), so I had to present the city in a new light.” And has he managed to do this? He smiles: “That’s for you to tell me.”

'Anjaan' TN business to start from Monday

Suriya Anjaan directed by Lingusamy, and produced under his banner Thirupathi Brothers in association with UTV, is currently the hottest film in the trade. Anjaan is a pucca mass commercial with Suriya in a dual role and Samantha as the female lead.

The film's theatricals for outside of Tamil Nadu has been sold out including Telugu dubbing rights, Overseas, Kerala, Karnataka and rest of India have been also been sold out.
The Tamil Nadu area wise business will start from Monday (July 7) and is expected to be sold out within a day or so. Many distributors are keen on getting area wise distribution, while two major companies are trying to buy entire Tamil Nadu theatricals.

Bollywood actors Manoj Bajpai, Vidyut Jamwal, Rajpal Yadav and Dalip Tahil play supporting roles in the film which has Cinematography by Santosh Sivan and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Anjaan first look teaser will be released on July 5 at an award night function, followed by the audio on July 17 at a glitzy launch. The film is now in post-production and scheduled to release on August 15 for the big Independence Day weekend.

I agree. It is so bad. What is this? There was no start middle or end to this movie. Did they forget how to make a movie now? There was no story or screenplay. It was all little flashes of video snippets with a background sound. Did they even hire a dialogue writer? All I heard was "Bulubulubulubulublu" and a punch dialogue for the sake of having one at the end and a pretty lady dancing. To top it all off it was only little more than 1 minute long!! Did they think us audience all have ADD?? Director Lingusamy has lost all his credibility as a director!!

Lol.. Got ur point. But I guess Anban was right with the quality of the teaser. I was recently impressed with VIP teaser which gives an idea on what to expect from the movie. Even though Dhanush has played a similar role in almost all his movies, the teaser was impressive. Nothing of that sort with Anjaan though. A badly cut teaser.

- The guitar lead matching the production house cards
- The sword drawing sound for the tooth pick
- Explosion sound followed by Bang Bang Bang when the flare is lighted
- when the 'thotta' lines comes, Surya spins the gun
- When 'Oru peru thaan' ends - Raju nahi, Raju Bhai Bolo
- When the road lines come - you have 3 quick shots of road/path ways
- "Thee pathumey" - he fuels the guys head with spirit
- That wonderfull shot when Santosh Sivan name is added
- 'Andheri Puli' - Surya is shown charging
- 'Adi nengula' - guns blazing by the duo - Bang bang Bang
- And the punch dialogue is to magnify the sharpness of Raju Bhai Character.

Without disclosing few other points in the open (let the movie get released I will surely talk about them), for the moment the way the time taken to reload the gun while lighting the cigar with a flippo is shot and edited is surely going to be an eye popper.

The pura - Kazhugu punch line is catchy. Santosh Sivan's camera work is superb. BGM / the song in the background is good.

But the worrying thing is about the story, why many directors want to take the "Mumbai Dada" style movies again and again... Unless there is an interesting narrative or good screenplay, these "Mumbai Don" type stories may fail to impress audience :shaking:

6 மாச ஷூட்டிங் போனதே தெரி யலை. அவ்ளோ ஜாலியா ரகளையா இருந்துச்சு. ஃபிரண்ட்ஸ் கூட பிக்னிக் போன மாதிரி ரொம்பவே அனுபவிச்சு வேலை பார்த்தோம்.

பொழுதுபோக்குங்கிற பேர்ல தரத்தை குறைச்சுடக்கூடாது, அதுக் காக கடுமையாகவும் இருந்துடக் கூடாது. காசு கொடுத்து படம் பாக்க வர்ற ரசிகன் திருப்தியா போகணும்னு நெறைய மெனக்கெட்டிருக்கோம். தியேட்டருக்கு வர்ற ரசிகர்களை ‘அஞ்சான்’ நிச்சயம் ஏமாத்தமாட்டான். என் வெற்றிப் பட வரிசையில் இவனுக்கு முக்கிய இடம் உண்டு.

நீங்கள் புதிய இயக்குநர்களோடு இணையாமல் இருப்பதற்கான காரணம் என்ன?

‘மௌனம் பேசியதே’ படத்தில் அமீருடன் சேர்ந்திருக்கிறேன். ‘ஜில்லுனு ஒரு காதல்’ படத்தின் இயக்குநர் ஒரு அறிமுக இயக்குநர்தான். கதைகள் சரியாக பொருந்தும்போது கண்டிப்பாக இணைந்து பணியாற்றுவேன். இன் றைக்கு கதைக்களம், ரசிகர்கள் எதிர் பார்ப்பு இப்படி நிறைய விஷயங்கள் சரியாக வருகிறதா என்று பார்த்து தான் ஒரு படத்தை தொடங்க வேண்டி யிருக்கிறது. ஒரு கதையை தொட்டால் 10 மாத உழைப்பு, வணிக ரீதியாக 50, 60 கோடிக்கு மேல் வர்த்தகம் என்ற நிலை இருக்கு. நேரடியாகவும், மறைமுகமாகவும் நிறைய பேருக்கு பதில் சொல்ல வேண்டியிருக்கு. அதனால் நாம் எடுக்கும் முடிவு சரியான தாக இருக்கவேண்டும். என் படத்தின் கதைகள் என்னை முன்நிறுத்தி இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதில்லை. என் படம் என்னைவிட பெரிதாக இருக்க வேண்டும். அவ்வளவுதான்.

அப்படி என்றால் கதையை மட்டும் நம்பித்தான் நீங்கள் களம் இறங்கு வீர்களா?

கண்டிப்பாக கதைதான் முக்கியம். ஒரு கதையை கேட்கும்போதே இயக்கு நர் அதற்காக எவ்வளவு தூரம் வேலை பார்த்திருக்கார் என்பது தெரியும். கதையை அழகாக சொல்பவர்கள் 100 சதவீதம் நன்றாக படம் எடுப்பார்கள் என்று சொல்ல முடியாது. நன்றாக படம் எடுப்பவர்கள் சரியாக கதை சொல்ல முடியாமலும் போகிறது. கிட்டத்தட்ட அது ஒரு டேக் மாதிரி. 2.30 மணி நேரம் தடம் மாறாமல் நம்மை கவர வேண்டிய கட்டாய மும், சூழலும் இருக்கு. தியேட்டரில் ரசிகர்களை எப்படி ஆர்வமாக வைத்திருக்கிறோமோ, அந்த அளவுக்கு ஒரு காட்சியை விவரிக்கும்போதும் சொல்ல வேண்டியிருக்கும். சில நேரத் தில் காட்சி எழுத முடியும், சில நேரத் தில் காட்சியை சொல்லத்தான் முடியும். ஹாலிவுட்டில் கதையை எழுதிக் கொடுத்துவிடுகிறார்கள்.அதைப் படித்துவிட்டு பிறகு நடிப்பது பற்றி முடிவெடுப்பார்கள். இங்கே சமயத்தில் எங்களுக்கு விளக்க மட்டும்தான் செய்கிறார்கள். ஒரு நடிகராக அந்த கதை எந்த வடிவத்தில் இருக்கும், அதற்குள் எவ்வளவு விஷயங்கள் சேர்க்கப்பட்டிருக்கு என்பதைப் பார்த்துதான் நான் முடிவு செய்கிறேன்.

டிவிட்டர், ஃபேஸ்புக் போன்ற சமூக பக்கங்களில் இணையாமல் இருக்கி றீர்களே?

நேரமில்லை. ஏதோ வந்தோம், பகிர்ந்தோம் என்று இருந்துவிடக் கூடாது. எங்கிருந்தாலும் உடனுக் குடன் சரியான தகவலை பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளும் சூழல் இருக்க வேண்டும். அதற்காக ஒரு சிறிய டீமை தயார்படுத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். விரைவில் இறங்குவேன்.

விளம்பரப்படங்களில் அதிகம் கவனம் செலுத்துகிறீர்களே?

ஒரு நடிகன் எவ்வளவு தூரம் போக முடியும் என்பதற்கு விளம் பரங்கள்தான் மைல்கல். ஷாரூக்கான் இன்று உலகம் முழுக்க பிரபல மாக இருப்பதற்கு அவரது விளம்பரப் படங்களும் ஒரு கார ணம். ஒரு விளம்பர ‘பிராண்ட்’டுக்கு நம்ம குணாதிசயங்கள், மதிப்பு, நம்ம கொள்கை எல்லாமும் இணைகிற மாதிரி இருக்க வேண்டும். அப்படி இருந்தால்தான் நம்மை தேர்வு செய்வார்கள். இவர் சொன்னா சரியாக இருக்கும் என்பதை நம்பித் தான் விளம்பரப்படங்களை எடுக்கிறார்கள். ஒரு பிராண் டுக்கு விளம்பரம் செய்யும்போது கூடுதல் வருமானத்துடன் ஒரு மரியா தையும் கிடைக்கிறது. அதை ஒரு வித மதிப்பான விஷயம் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்.

நடிப்புக்கு இடையிலும் ‘அகரம் பவுண் டேஷன்’ நிறுவனத்தின் வேலைகளில் கவனம் செலுத்தி வருகிறீர்கள். உங்களின் அடுத்த திட்டம் என்ன?

இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளாக யோசித்து வரும் விஷயம்தான். 10, 12-ஆம் வகுப்பு களோடு படிப்பை விட்டுவிடுகிற பிள்ளை களின் எதிர்காலம் என்ன என்பது இங்கே கேள்விக்குறியாக இருக்கிறது. அவர்களிடமும் பல்வேறு திறமைகள் இருக்கும். அதைக் கண்டுபிடித்து அவர்களை அந்தத் துறையில் ஊக்கு விக்கும் முயற்சியில் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும். குறிப்பாக பள்ளி, கல்லூரி களுக்கு போகாமல் படிப்பை துண்டித் துக்கொள்கிற பிள்ளைகளுக்கு அவர்க ளுக்கு ஆர்வம் உள்ள துறைகளில் பயிற்சி அளிக்க புதிய திட்டம் தொடங்குவது பற்றி யோசித்து வருகிறேன்.

உங்கள் குழந்தைகளின் படிப்புக்கும், பொழுதுபோக்கிற்கும் நீங்கள் எந்த வகையில் உதவியாக இருக்கிறீர்கள்?

பெரிதாக சொல்லிக்கொள்ள ஒன்று மில்லை. அவர்களை இப்போ ‘ஜோ’ தான் கவனிச்சிக்கிறாங்க. முடிந்த வரை சனி, ஞாயிறுகளில் நேரம் ஒதுக்க முயற்சி செய்கிறேன். கடந்த 4, 5 ஆண்டுகளாக அது நடக்க வில்லை. குழந்தைகளோட பத்து வயது வரைக்கும் அவர்களுக்காக நேரத்தை ஒதுக்க வேண்டும் என்று நான் விரும்புகிறேன். இனி அது நடக்கும்.

தெலுங்குப் படத்தில் நடிக்கப் போறீங் களாமே?

அதை ஒரு நன்றிக்கடனாகத்தான் நினைக்கிறேன். என்னோட ஒரு படம் அங்கு ரிலீஸ் ஆனால் அதை டப்பிங் படமாக பார்க்காமல் நேரடிப் படமாகத் தான் அங்குள்ளவர்கள் பார்க்கிறார்கள். அவ்வளவு அன்பும் ஆதரவும் எனக்கு அங்கே கிடைத்திருக்கிறது. ‘ஏன் இங்கு ஒரு படம் பண்ணக்கூடாது?’ என்று நிறைய பேர் கேட்கவும் செய்றாங்க. இப்போ அதுக்கான வேலைகளில் இருக்கிறேன்.

வெங்கட்பிரபுவோடு இணையும் புதிய படத்தின் கதை எந்த கட்டத்தில் உள்ளது?

இந்த மாதம் தொடங்குகிறோம். ப்ளீஸ்... ‘அஞ்சான்’ ரிலீஸுக்கு பிறகு அதைப் பற்றிப் பேசுவோமே.

உங்களுடைய கனவுப் படம்?

அப்படி எதுவும் இல்லை. குழந்தை களுக்கான படங்கள் தற்போது இல்லையோ என்று அடிக்கடி தோன் றும். பொழுதுபோக்கு அம்சங்களோடு குழந்தைங்களுக்கான ஒரு படம் கொடுக்க ஆசை உள்ளது.

நீங்கள் புதிதாக தொடங்கியுள்ள ‘2டி எண்டர்டெயினர்’ தயாரிப்பு கம்பெனி எந்த மாதிரியான படங்களுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் அளிக்கும்?

இந்த கதையில் நான் பங்கேற்க வேண்டும் என்று நினைக்கும் படங்கள் நிச்சயம் இருக்கும்.. குழந்தை கள் விரும்புகிற குடும்ப படமாக முத லில் தொடங்குவோமே என்று இயக்கு நர் பாண்டிராஜ் சாரோட இந்தப் படத்திலிருந்து தொடங்கியிருக்கி றோம்.

உங்கள் அம்மாவுக்காக கட்டி வரும் பிரம்மாண்ட வீடு எந்த அளவில் இருக்கிறது?

வேலைகள் நடந்து வருது.இன்னும் நிறைய செலவு இருக்கு. அதை பொறுமையாக செய்து வருகிறோம்.

In today’s competitive world, publicity and marketing are most important for commercial success. This point was grasped by Studio Green, who organise publicity for Surya and Karthi in a very organised and aggressive manner in Telugu markets.
This is one of the most important reasons behind Surya ‘s big market in Telugu. Now, this top actor is missing Studio Green’ s publicity for ‘Sikandar’.

From the Ek Do teen visuals, it's clear they are appeasing to the Telugu audience more than Tamil audience. And Suriya should stick to acting, his singing is bad. Same with Yuvan attempting a qawwali number, very bad. Half-hearted attempt by Yuvan album wise, though his Thirudan Police is by far superior (and looking forward with more hopes for his 2nd Hindi venture, Raja natwarlal.)

Those of you who have seen Vidyut Jammwal play the bad guy in films like Billa 2 and Thuppakki are in for a surprise. The actor, who is also a martial arts expert, has confirmed that he will not be playing the baddie in the Suriya-Samantha-starrer Anjaan.

"I am not playing the villain, for sure. We are partners in crime and I am with him throughout the film. I can't reveal much about my character because the twist in the film revolves around it, but it surely is something that I have never done before - in Hindi or Tamil," reveals Vidyut.

At the film's audio launch, Vidyut had called Lingusamy the 'Best director in India'. "At the expense of being questioned by a lot of people, as to how I can stake such a tall claim, I say this. I have spent more time with him than with my other directors. He makes a genuine effort to make a good film. He doesn't speak English much, but has the ability to express himself."

Vidyut maintains that there has been no competition between him and any of the stars he has worked with. "One thing I have realized is that rather than competing, it is better to work as a team. In a film, it is never a one-man show. If it works for everyone, then it works for me. So, while on one hand it feels good to be noticed in the film, that is just not what it is all about," he says.

Now that he has completed three films, has he picked up any Tamil words? He laughs. "I can say all my dialogues perfectly, but if you ask me to say something off the top of my head, all I can remember is 'Ivan buddhisaali illai' which is one of the dialogues I had said in one of my films. Somehow, that has stuck with me for so long, although I know it is not a very nice thing to say to someone."
