Am I missing something here? Why doesn't this movie has it's own thread?

Just caught it last night after hearing positive WOM. Reminded me strongly of the director's NMA. Violent, gritty, down to earth. Bharathiraja was phenomenal as Vishal's father.

First half is basically the setup of the story. The real moments of the film come in the second half. Feels a bit draggy but watchable. The action scenes are done realistically. The love sequence in the second half was a major distraction and speed breaker, especially the Kalachify song.

same old story. but hearing the script and screenplay to be much better and taut than the other diwali releases. need to watch this movie if it ever releases in this part of the world. :)

Pandiya Naadu - Best deepavali 2013 movie.

Yes the story is a revenge drama, but the narration and the cast makes it a good movie to watch. You cant help feel sympathy for the hero and the dad and the girl who was being chased by the baddie.

Vishal struck gold again. His acting is good, and his height and physique makes him apt for action movies.

I lost count on how many Menons who are acting currently. Female lead is not bad, but she could have avoided the kuthu dance song, which wasnt necessary in the movie.

This is 2nd time i watch bharathija in a movie. First time was in Ayutha Eluthu, he left a good impression of him as a good character artist.

Vikranth and Suri didnt do bad either,

Another heighlight is the Villain Sharath, so devilish and ruthless.

Camera and Music is superb. D. Imaan has increased the expectation for Jilla songs and BGM. Fy Fy Fy Kalachify is well sung by actress Ramya Nambeesan (competition to Andrea).

Director Suseenthiran has being doing pretty good in 2013, two great movies this year. His future is bright.

Bharathirajaa - Classy playing of a "pAsakkAra" appan! Body language, facial expressions, the way he speaks - he emphasizes that he is a master actor!

Suseenthiran has matured as a director in this film! Lovely character building and optimal usage of screenspace for every actor(s) in the film.

Vishal has obviously realised the importance of getting into the skin of the character, every one of his rendezvous with Laskhmi is beautiful!

Lakshmi menon gets equal whistles as does the hero during the credits! She looks like a bomb in the kalachify song!

The Villain Sharath (from ethir neechal) has done a tremendously menacing job! Vikranth does a very small role - he could have been given a bigger role may be 2 more scenes?

Well executed suseenthiran!

DMK thugs who have sold out Pandiya nAttu kal Quarrys would be pissed with the import of this movie - that The public should plan "wet jobs" for the "malai muzhungi" mafia!

Well obviously, "Pottu" Suresh and "Simmakkal" Ravi from this film share a lot in common. ;)

Watched movie on Saturday[actually headed to watch Irandam Ulagam,Just before entering theater all reviews came to my mind and changed the thought]

I liked it
+ves = 1st half,Vishal,Barathi Raja,Music & screenplay[Major plus].Liked the way Suseendhran linked the revenge story with Granite Scam

But Honestly couldn't find much difference between Naan Mahaan Alla & Pandianaadu

பாரதிராஜா பட்டைய கிளப்பியிருக்கார் . விஷால் நல்ல முன்னேற்றம்.
வன்முறை சற்று அதிகம் (பொதுவா குத்துறது , வெட்டுறதெல்லாம் வரும் போது கண்ணை மூடிவிடுபவன் என்பதால் நிறைய நேரம் கண்ணை மூட வேண்டியிருந்தது)
