படத்தை வெற்றியடைய வைக்க என்னென்னவோ உத்திகளை எல்லாம் கையாள ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டனர். அவற்றில் ஒன்றுதான்... படம் வெளிவருவதற்கு முன்பு ஆண்டராய்டில் மொபைல் கேம்களை உருவாக்குவது. பாலிவுட்டில் வெளியாகும் பெரும்பாலான பெரிய பட்ஜெட் படங்களுக்கு மொபைல் கேம் வெளியிடுவது அங்கே வழக்கத்தில் உள்ளது. கோலிவுட்டில் இப்போதுதான் மொபைல் கேம் உருவாக்குவது மெல்ல தலைகாட்ட ஆரம்பித்திருக்கிறது. ஏற்கனவே கோச்சடையான், சைவம், அஞ்சான் ஆகிய படங்களுக்கு மொபைல் கேம் வெளியிடப்பட்டது. இந்த மூன்று படங்களுமே எதிர்பார்த்த அளவுக்கு ஓடவில்லை. அதனாலோ என்னவோ, மொபைல் கேம் வெளியிட்டால் படம் ஓடாது என்ற சென்ட்டிமெண்ட் கோலிவுட்டில் தற்சமயம் நிலைபெற்றிருக்கிறது.

Kaththi will be extra significant for Vijay
A.R.Murugadoss - Vijay's second outing together, Kaththi is set for release this Diwali. The film's Telugu dubbed version is also getting ready for a simultaneous release, and October 23rd is the reported release day for the dubbed version in the two Telugu speaking states.
A.R.Murugadoss is very popular and much-in-demand in the Telugu market and so is Samantha who is a regular fixture in many Telugu superstars' movies. Vijay is also a noted star among Tamil heroes in Telugu, and the makers would be hoping that Kaththi would hit the bulls-eye in both the versions.

Response for Kaththi game gives it another version

We had already reported that the Kaththi Official 3D game is available for download in Google Play Store and Windows Game Store and according to sources close to the production team, we hear that the game has got maximum number of downloads when compared to any other game related to Tamil Cinema.

The latest we hear is that, Lyca Productions is now planning to release an iOS version of the game and the team is also said to be developing a 2D version targeted for children, as a result of the response for the 3D version of the game.

HOT BUZZ : KATHTHI TO RELEASE FOUR DAYS BEFORE DIWALI ?

If sources in the industry are to be believed, distributors have asked the makers of Kaththi to release the film four days before Diwali so that everyone in the trade will see a huge turn over.

According to the buzz in K-town, if Kaththi opens on Diwali day - the collection will be divided due to Poojai and Bhoologam's release and hence one set of distributors have asked the team to release the film on October 17th ie., four days before Diwali.

Though the producers of Kaththi and the other set of distributors are yet to give their nod, this is the hot buzz in K-town. If Kaththi opens on October 17, the first 10 days collections will be huge and once again we can expect the Thuppakki magic in terms of revenue generation.

It has to remembered that Thuppakki was first scheduled for November 9 ( four days before diwali) but later it was only released on Diwali day November 13, 2012.

Record breaking release for Kaththi in Kerala?

Heroes become bankable stars only when their releases regularly create a buzz both in overseas markets and other regional states. Ilayathalapathy Vijay is one such actor who has a prominent fan following especially in Kerala.

Just like the usual traditions of a Vijay film release in Tamilnadu, Kerala is no less when it comes to all the hoopla and fan fare for a Vijay starrer. Since the Ghilli days, Vijay has had proper, hardcore fan clubs in Kerala.

I think problems not yet solved completely just because soundarya has bought the audio rights(She just has the audio rights and not the movie rights). Most of the problems are cleared due to Jeya TV bought the rights of the movie(The only reason)! Problems may arise during release time,but not sure.

Movie not releasing on 17th as the post production is still going on and hasn't been censored yet & theatre booking is still going on! So definitely on 22nd!

Vijay's 'Kaththi' Set for Big Openings in Kerala

Thameens of Shibu films, the co-producer of "Vijay 58," will be distributing "Kaththi" in Kerala. He is reportedly planning to release the film in more than 200 screens on the festival day of Diwali.

"#Kaththi releasing in 200+screens in Kerala Oct 22.Many screens have signed up with Thameens on very attractive terms," tweeted entertainment industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai.

It may be recalled that Vijay's last release "Jilla" was reportedly released in more than 200 screens in Kerala. And now, the actor's "Kaththi" is also likely to be shown in 200 plus screens, which will be a real treat for Vijay fans. The actor enjoys a good fan following in Kerala and his films have performed well at the box office. "Jilla" was a big hit in the God's own country and "Kaththi" is also expected to follow suit.

With a huge release, "Kaththi" is expected to have big openings in the state. There are huge expectations for the action entertainer as Vijay and director have joined hands for the second time nearly after two years. Their 2012 film "Thuppakki," which was also a Diwali release, was a massive hit and raked in more than ₹100 crore worldwide.

Thing is that such websites don't have the access to actors/celebrities. They also don't have a team as such. One or two persons form an editorial (??). They read all the local newspapers, magazines. Pull out the articles. Add some pepper and salt. Make their own articles and publish it. These days I don't even bother to buy a Kumudham or Ananda Vikatan. The articles are seen all over the net in the following days in different forms. One classic example is the Vijay superstar thing. Kumudham hit the stores on Wednesday. In couple of days, oneindia came up with a different story to satisfy a different set of fans. Imagine the boost in their hit rates. That's what its all about. :)

KATHTHI TO HAVE THE BIGGEST RELEASE FOR A TAMIL FILM IN USA

Kaththi's distribution rights are almost locked in India and now the overseas rights are getting finalized. Though Ayngaran will be releasing it in major locations in Europe, the film's USA distribution rights has been bagged by MM Media (GK Media) along with Lyca, the producers of Kaththi.

Sources say that for a Tamil film, Kaththi will have the biggest release in USA and one could expect huge number of screens breaking all previous records. Mean time, theater agreement for Kaththi are being signed across many theaters in TN and as of now the release date is October 22 ie., Diwali.
