சொல்லாமலே, ரோஜாக்கூட்டம், டிஷ்யூம், பூ என மென்மையான காதல் கதைகளை படமாக்கியவர் சசி. அவரது படங்களின் கதாபாத்திரங்கள் மேலோட்டமாக இல்லாமல் அழுத்தமாக உணர்வுப்பூர்வமாக இருக்கும். இந்த வரிசையில், அவர் இயக்கியுள்ள 5வது படம்தான் 555. பரத் நாயகனாக நடித்துள்ளார். இப்படத்தை கடந்த 2 ஆண்டுகளாக இயக்கி வந்தார் சசி.

அதற்கு என்ன காரணம்? என்று அவரைக்கேட்டால், படத்தில் பல கெட்டப்புகளில் நடித்துள்ளார் பரத். ஒவ்வொரு கெட்டப்புக்கும் அவரை தயார்படுத்த மாதக்கணக்கில் ஆனது. மேலும், முதன்முறையாக இந்த படத்தில் நான் ஆக்சன் கதையை கையிலெடுத்திருக்கிறேன். இது ஒரு மாறுதலுக்காக மட்டுமின்றி, என்னால் ஆக்சன் படமும் எடுக்க முடியும் என்பதை நிரூபிக்கும் முயற்சியே என்கிறார் சசி.

மேலும், இந்த படத்தில் ஒரு சாவு பாடலும் உண்டு. அதை வெஸ்டர்ன் பாணியில் கம்போஸ் செய்திருக்கிறோம். இப்போது பார்ப்பவர்களுக்கு இந்த மாதிரி சாவு பாட்டெல்லாம் எதற்கு என்றுதான் தோன்றும். ஆனால் படத்தை பார்க்கும்போது அப்படியொரு பாடல் அவசியம் தேவை என்பது புரியும். மற்றபடி இதில் சென்டிமென்டெல்லாம் எதுவும் இல்லை என்கிறார் சசி.

Behindwoods Review Board says, "Sasi is a master teller when it comes to narrate a story about love and its finer aspects and there would always be a kind of poignancy in them. 555 is no exception. In Arvind Sureshkumar's story, Sasi has also used a lot of action and suspense to drive home his point. There are adequate twists and turns in the narration to make the audience engrossed in the enterprise."

Prashanth Reddy of Desimartini says, "A few minutes into the film, I smugly told myself how I expected it to end; my predictions couldn't have been more wrong. That's the one thing about Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu that I love: it always kept me puzzled about the happenings and continuously piled mounds of absurd as it moved forward."
"The kind of epic back story and sentimentality it lends its antagonist is sheer rip-roaring awesomeness. The non-linear screenplay is a huge plus in making the film interesting."

According to Indiagltiz.com, "Bharath has put his heart and soul in this movie, making it worth the wait. His transformation from an urban cool dude to a steel gritted toned angry hunk is amazing, even though the justification for his clenched body is never shown in a convincing manner. Plot
Aravind (Bharath (http://www.iflickz.com/celebrities/bharath)) loses his girl friend Liyana (Mirthika) in a car accident and he lives with her memories. But, people around him try to make him believe that he is just hallucinating and no such person existed. The rest of the story shows whether he has been hallucinating about a non-existed girl friend or if there was really one. The movie (http://www.iflickz.com/galleries/moviegalleries) has certain scenes that might remind one of recently released ‘Samar (http://www.iflickz.com/movies/samar)’ and ‘Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal (http://www.iflickz.com/tag/muppozhudhum-un-karpanaigal)’.
Performances
Bharath (http://www.iflickz.com/celebrities/bharath) has undergone a lot of hardships to get the desired look for this film and it shows on the screen. He looks credible in the role of a mentally unstable person in the first half. Also, he aces in romantic and dance sequences. Let’s hope that Bharath (http://www.iflickz.com/celebrities/bharath) gets the much needed break with this film.
Mirthika with her next girl-door-image impresses with her innocent and bubbly expressions. She has also danced well alongside Bharath (http://www.iflickz.com/celebrities/bharath), which would have a little challenging. Erica Fernandes’ role definitely reminds one of Trisha (http://www.iflickz.com/celebrities/trisha)’s role in ‘Samar (http://www.iflickz.com/movies/samar)’. She fits the bill perfectly though. Santhanam (http://www.iflickz.com/celebrities/santhanam) has a rather serious role in the film, with few instances of hilarious acts. The rest of the supporting cast has ably supported the lead cast.
Technicalities
Under Simon’s music, ‘Vizhiyile Vizhiyile’ and ‘Mudhal Mazhai Kaalam’ are melodious. However, few songs could have been done away in the film. The background score passes the muster.
Saravanan (http://www.iflickz.com/celebrities/saravanan) Abimonyu’s camera work is praise-worthy and makes the film look technically rich. The car accident sequence and the songs need special (http://www.iflickz.com/videos/special) mention. Also, kudos to the team for their innovative choreography in ‘Vizhiyile’ song! Subarak’s editing makes the first half very interesting, but the second half needed some trimming.
Story and Direction
The story is written by Aravind – Suresh Kumar and they must be lauded for placing enough twists. Sasi (http://www.iflickz.com/celebrities/sasi) has made sure the story is converted into engaging visuals. The first half completely blindfolds the audience and the director has slowly unraveled the mystery. The ‘Special (http://www.iflickz.com/videos/special) Power’ scenes might appear silly initially, but they turn interesting as the movie (http://www.iflickz.com/galleries/moviegalleries) progresses.
On the flip side, once the mystery is revealed in the second half, the rest of the film looks like a mere march to an expected climax. The screenplay would have been more interesting if few songs were not forcefully inserted into the movie (http://www.iflickz.com/galleries/moviegalleries).Especially, ‘Rowdy girls’ song in the first half and ‘Elavu’ song in the second half hamper the screenplay.

பரத் - சந்தானம் இருவரும் அண்ணன்-தம்பிகள். ஒரு விபத்தில் சிக்கும் பரத், அந்த விபத்தில் தன் காதலி மிருத்திகா இறந்துவிட்டதாக நம்புகிறார். ஆனால்,'உனக்கு அப்படி ஒரு காதலியே இல்லை. விபத்தின் காரணமாக, இல்லாத ஒன்றை இருப்பதாக உன் மூளை கற்பனை செய்துகொள்கிறது’ என்கிறார்கள் மருத்துவர்கள். இந்த மர்ம முடிச்சை பரத் அவிழ்க்கும்போது, ஒரு கும்பல் அவரைத் துரத்துகிறது. யார் அந்தக் கும்பல், பரத்துக்கு காதலி இருப்பது உண்மையா பொய்யா என்பது திக் திக் க்ளைமாக்ஸ்!
மென்மை பாணியில் இருந்து விலகி வன்மையும் வன்முறையும் நிறைந்த ஆக்ஷன் த்ரில்லரைக் கையில் எடுத்திருக்கிறார் இயக்குநர் சசி. யூகிக்க முடிந்த பல காட்சிகளுக்கு இடையில் சடாரென தலைகாட்டும் சில திருப்பங்கள்... சபாஷ்!

'அவளை ஜெனிலியானு நினைச்சேன். ஆனா அஞ்சலிப் பாப்பாவா இருக்காளே’ என்று ஹீரோயினை வாரும் இடத்தில் சிரிக்கவைக்கும் சந்தானம், குணச்சித்திர நடிப்பிலும் ஓஹோ!
த்ரில்லர் கதைக்கு விறுவிறுப்பு சேர்க்க வேண்டிய ஒளிப்பதிவு, காதல் கதை ரசனையில் பயணிப்பது... உறுத்தல். அவ்வளவு தடாலடி கில்லாடி திட்டங்கள் தீட்டும் வில்லன், சவப்பெட்டியை டம்மியாகக்கூட நிரப்பாமல் இருப்பது ஏன்?
மர்மங்கள், ரகசியங்களில் கவனம் செலுத்திய இயக்குநர், ஒட்டுமொத்த திரைக்கதையின் வேகத்தை அதிகரித்திருக்கலாம். படத்தின் ஆரம்பத்தில் 'ரவுடி கேர்ள்ஸ்’ என்றொரு பாட்டு வருகிறது. க்ளைமாக்ஸில் சாவு பாட்டை நவீன மாக இசைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். பரத் '8 பேக்’ வைத்திருக்கிறார். படத்துக்கு 'ஐந்து ஐந்து ஐந்து’ என்று தலைப்பு... இதெல்லாம் எதற்கு சசி?

As usual I was sceptical before watching the movie, because of Bharath's previous movies but I had no reason to be like that. This movie is definately worth watching. There are many good things abt the movie and few bad things.

positives:
- bharath (his hard effort paid off)
- mrithula (welcome to another sunaina)
- santhanam (good to seee him in a more serious role for a change)
- racy screenplay, story, direction (director sasi showed he is a vesatile director)
- photography (esp the mountain scenes)

negatives:
- songs really not needed (ezhavu song was noisy but a bit funny though)
- you can watch it once, because of the suspences (reminded a bit of Samar)
- honour killing scenes (a cruelty)
- too violent at times
- too much screaming too
