Can we freeze "VADA FLOUR"?

Hi friends,
Today , i grinded kadala mavu for masal vadai.....But i have more flour than what i needed. Can i keep it in the fridge and use it tomorrow............

Yes, you can. Just keep the mixture covered in the fridge. Vadas taste good when they are freshly fried i.e do not fry and store them in the fridge but rather store the mixture in the fridge and whenever you want vadas, fry it. The crispy outer layer is the most important thing in vadas/vadais.
The fridge, Sumeet and Jeannette are the best inventions for cooking imo.

let me ask u something, are u a male or a female............. If u r interested , do tell me, if not i dont even hear it. Anyway, it dont not matter to get a information about "vadai flour"... just a curious........coz u r getting involved in this forrum soooo much.

Hello Gaya3,
It is not advisable to store Vadai dough for more than two to three hours because when you make Vadais after storing for a longer time, it uses up much more oil.and vadais drip with oil, whereas freshly made dough does not atall retain oil.

Hi Gaya3,
You could make the vadas and then freeze them. When you thaw them you can use them for dahi vadas, sambar vadas and the kind as they will not be crisp.
