You must try the garam pori (puffed rice). Grate the beetroot, carrot, onion, green chillies. Add salt and lemon juice. In another bowl mix puffed rice, roasted peanuts, pottukadalai (roasted chana dhal), sesame oil. When you are ready to eat, mix the rice with the grated beetroot mix. You can also add mixture (Hot mix) to the puff rice. If you have left over beetroot mix, refrigerate it separately and the puffed rice mix separately. Otherwise the puffed rice will become soggy.
