Hi Heather,
Do you mean NAVRATAN KORMA?
N.R Korma is different from Mix Vegetable curry.
Mix veg. curry has more number of vegetables than Navratan Korma.
If you want, please clearify and I will post the recipe.

Hello Ankur!
Navrattan khorma/kurma is supposedly a tribute to Emperor Akbar's cabinet of nine ministers.
That's as far as it goes. The rest is all made up.
I doubt if this was even made in those days. Navrattan meaning nine jewels represents the nine different vegetables to some or a mix of vegetables and dry fruits.
Normally cooked in a mild flavored sauce enriched with cream and butter.
There is also the Murgh Navrattan - which is supposedly garnished with nine different nuts and raisins.
However the term Khorma is misused almost all over in Indian cuisine. Originally meant to be a meat based dish cooked with ghee, it involved cooking till all fat separated with hardly any runny sauce around.
Its origins are in Persian foods, popularised by the Moghuls.
