Hello!
Here I am posting a different dish which I learnt from a friend.
CAPSICUM JAM
Ingredients:
capsicum-100gms
Tomato-100gms
black grapes-a handful
Ghee-2tbsps
Method:
chop the capsicum nicely and fry it with 1 tbsp ghee on a wok.cool it and grind it nicely without adding water.Grind the tomatoes nicely. Extract thick juice from the grapes.Combine the three and mix well.If the mixture is a cup then take equal amount of sugar, that is a cup. mix well and put on the wok and cook on a medium fire. When it thickens, add the remaining ghee , mix well and put off the fire. After some time it will be thickening more. This is a different spread for bread.

Thanks, dear Mini,
I use krafts chedder cheese, from the box or from the tin. The slices would be very soft.
You can even add cooked meat in the filling.
Thanks

Hello ,Hello,Hello,
What happened?
Why no new postings have come in Bell pepper?
I hope this contest does not die a pre-mature death.

Dear Hemantji,
I too was surprised that there were no new postings on Bell pepper. I am sure there are so many ways one can make use of bell pepper.
Bell pepper rice, bell pepper chutney, bell pepper sambal, stir fried bell pepper with mixed vege, bell pepper pasta, and so on.
This contest is not to judge who is the best, but to bring out the best recipes in each homes.
I hope I am right Hemantji.I think each of us must introduce this thread one or more friends of ours so that more people will participate. We will not let this thread to meet it's death. Thanks

Hi Hemant ji and all my friends
Though it is too late to post recipes for kudai milagai just wanted to share this simple recipe. This is a very handy recipe and tastes excellent.
2 small kudaimilagai
1 big onion
sambar powder 3 tablespoons
oil and salt
cut kudaimilagai into medium size longitudinal pieces and the onions into small longitudinal pieces.
Fry onions in oil till the colur changes to brown. Add the cut kudaimilagai and sprinkle water and close the lid. After it gets half tender add the sambar powder and salt and fry further(dont have to close with the lid). Keep frying until there the whole mixture blends well and gets fried well. Then color of the curry gets to be dark brown or almost black.
Enjoy this recipe and let me know how you liked it.
Sarah

Hemantji,
Can I request you to post the next topic? Even if you don't have time to judge the recipes, I think if you throw a topic, new recipes will come out. And later when you have enough time, you may judge the recipes if you wish. I am too one among those who do not wish this thread to meet it's death.
