kozhakattai in the US

Can somebody tell me how to make the mel maavu for kozhakkattai here in the US? I am not sure about how to grind the wet and later dried pachcharisi?

For kozhukkattai, you have to wash the rice and soak it in water for about 30 minutes. Drain the water completely and then powder it when the rice is wet. If you are making small quantities, try the Innomix Tribute (http://www.innoconcepts.com/meenumix.htm) -dry grinder jar. Once you make the powder, you have to put the flour in the sieve and sieve it make sure the flour is of uniform consistency.
If you want to grind in bulk, we have pulverizer (http://www.wetgrinder.com/pulverizer.htm) which can give uniform output. You can grind even oily subsatances in the pulverizer. It has six sieves, so you can choose the consistency of the output.
