I too want to know a different version of l.finger because no one takes it except for me.

Hi P,
Why don't you try the "vendaikkai pachadi"(with coconut) posted by D in Tamilnadu Delicacies. I tried and it came out very well for me. Good Luck.

ladies finger curry
ingredients
1/2 kilo ladies finger-washed and cut into two
1tb sp fenugreek
1 large onion sliced
curry leaves
4 dried chilli
1t sp mustard seeds
1tb sp chilli powder
1tb sp jeera powder
1/2 cup water
tamarind water and salt to taste
2 tb sp oil
Heat the oil in a fry pan add onion and fry until transparent. Add fenugreek fry for a minute then add mustard seed and curry leaves and red chilli fry for another minute. Add chilli powder and jeera powder. Then add ladies finger and keep frying until the ladies finger is cooked. Add water, salt and tamarind water to taste. Let the curry boil. You can add some milk if you like. Enjoy.
