Does anyone know where we can get marati moggu in new jersey?

  hi all,
  it was quite a matter of surprise for me about moggu,when i couldnt find it and when i wanted to use it in my sambhar powder. after quite alot of search and even visting this forum, i couldnt find it, until my mother in law disclosed that, u can use Chakra moggu-thats nothin but Star Dried Aniseed. that u can get in ne of the patel brothers. so i think logically, marathi moggu should be nothin but round aniseed.. well the purpose for which it is used to give aroma is solved for me... so i shared with you all.

  Tamari samaz khoti chhe.
  Star Anis cannot replace Maratti Moggu .
  Furthermore it is not advicable to use star in sambhar Powder.
  Also, Mareti Moggu is not to be used even in Karnataka sambar powder.
