Hi Yazdy,
I believe Sheera is a South Indian Delicacy.
Here's the recipe.
1 cup Semolina
3 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup Ghee
A few Raisins & diced Almonds or Cashewnuts
4 powdered Cardomoms.
A few saffron threads soaked in a tsp of Milk
Heat Ghee, add semolina and roast lightly, add the raisins & nuts. Add the sugar stir and add water stirring continously. Add the powdered cardomom and saffron. If you wish to add a yellow coloring dissolve color in a little warm water and add.Keep stirring - The sheera clings to the spoon when done. Flatten on a greased plate with the back of the spoon. Cut into diamond shapes when cooled.
Good luck!!
