Hello Yezdi Patel,
From your name it looks that you are a Parsi.
Sheera or Sheero is a Gujarati/Northe Indian as well as South Indian sweet dish.
Even in Tamilnadu, you have seera and Lapsi.
Sheera is made with both whole wheat flour and also with Sooji (samolina).
If you let me know which you had, I can help you with a number of recipes..
But you will have to look in this thread for the recipe as I do not send recipes at personal address.

I AM UPTO MY NECT IN INDIAN COOKBOOKS,BUT HAVE VERY POOR SKILLS. PLEASE RECOMMEND SOME GOOD GUJARATI COOKBOOKS. HEMANT< PLEASE HELP ME FIND THE NAME OF GREEN LEAVESTHAT GUJARATIS ADD TO THEIR REGULAR TEA. THEY LOOK LIKE LONG GREEN ONION LEAVES BUT ARE VERY DIFFERENT IN FLAVOUR. Hello Yezdi Bawa,
First about the GREEN LEAVES that are put by parsi s and Gujaratis of Surat region .
I think this answer has already been given by my learned friend Funcook.
The leaves of LEMON GRASS, are used along with tea leaves .
The end result is simply too fantastic to describe.
If you do not get the green leaves of lemon grass , you may buy Lemon Grass oil from any spice, Herbal tea store or some pharmacy.
And use the dosage as follows.
Dip a glass rod .steel rod of 4 mm thickness in the oil bottol.Let it drain and use only the amount of oil sticking to the surface of the rod for 1 cup of tea.
I perfacted this dosage in Bangalore where I could not get Green Tea (Lemon grass ) but I got this oil from Agricultural University at Hebbal.
SHEERA,
Tomorrow morning or tonight, I will post two different types .Please follow it to the T and you would get what you want. Please look in my Hemant's Cookery corner for the recipe.
