I needed the mango sammanthy recipe from kerala. This sammanthy is eaten with rice. I tried making it using raw mango, coconut etc but I do not get the mouth watering taste one that mom prepares.
Thanks

Mango chamndhi
Coconut
red chilli ( roast it on the flame with tongs!)
Ginger 1 small piece
Curry leaves
raw mango after removing the skin(usually the ones we get in US are not sour)
Little pulli(can use paste but the original is the best)
Grind all the above . Might get closer to your mom's recipie.

if you heat the ginger piece over direct flame for 10secs the raw smell will go and chutney will be tastier
