Hello arthi,
Here u go for the recipe which is prepared using the oven. I took this recipe from Mr.Ramki's thread. I haven't tried. Just try.
Oven roasted Mixed Vegetables :
This is a very simple recipe and also cholestrol fry, rich and healthy and also tasty and easy.
The ingredients for this can vary according to indiviual taste and availability.I like to use all seasonal vegetables and make it a side dish or even an appitiezer for my guests and family.
please note that all the vegetables have to be cut into thin round strips almost equal sizes for better taste.use a mandolin for it.
Potatoes 2-3 large cut into thin round peices
Onions red 2medium ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
tomatoes large 2 ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
zuchinni 2""""""""""""""
chayote squash 1
carrots 1
beetroots 1
cabbage leaves shredded.
salt to taste
whole garlic pod
olive oil 1/2cup
pepper powder freshly crushed 2tsp
chilli powder 1/2tsp
fresh herbs of your choice, cilantro, basil, rosemary or mint.
Method
In a baking dish apply 2tsp of oil and spread it evenly. layer all the vegetables one over the other and cover it with remaining oil. season it with the seasonings and herbs.
place the garlic pod on top of it and oven roast it in a preheated oven of 400degrees and then reduce the heat to 350 and bake it for about 20mins-30mins,
remove the roasted garlic and squeese it over the top of the vegetables and sevre immediately.

Bread toast
Preheat the oven to 375 deg in broil mode.
Slice the french bread in 1/2'' thick.
Apply little garlic paste on both sides.
Put in a oven tray or aluminium foil.
Keep in the oven exactly 2 mins on each side of the bread.
U will have delicious bead toast. If u keep 3 mins on both sides in 350 deg oven then u will get rusk to eat with tea or coffe.
