Any Tofu recipes?

Does anyone have any simple and good Tofu recipes, possibly with an indian touch?

This is what usually we do.
Tofu Sambal
Ingredients
Tofu - 2 cut into small cubes & marinate w/salt, tumeric & chilli powder.
Onion - 3 or 4 - finely chopped or diced
Tomatoes - 1 or 2 - diced
Garlic - 2 crushed
Chilli paste - 2 to 3 tblsp
(Optional) Tomato puree - 1 or 2 tsp
Tamarind juice - 1/2 tcup
Salt
Recipe
Deep fry the marinated tofu & keep it aside.
(U may use the same used for tofu frying, for the Sambal. If there's a lot oil, pour it into a bowl, when it cools down).
Heat up the pot. When the oil becomes hot, add the Chilli paste & fry until it is cooked. Put in the galic & fry again. Add the tomato puree & stir well for few secs. Then add in the onions & half of the tomatoes & stir, until the onions r cooked. Pour in the tamarind juice, salt & the balance tomatoes & mix well. When the gravy boils add in the tofu & off the gas. Serve hot.

Hi Mamta,
You can use mattar paneer recipe and prepare a delicious dish by simply substituting paneer with cubed, lightly fried tofu. Just cook the dish in vegetable broth for some extra flavor.

Ingredients:
Coconut - 5 pieces of coconut each about 1" by 1/2"
Roasted Channa dhal - 6 teaspoons
Jalopeno pepper - 1
Hing - a small piece
Ginger - 1/2" piece
Tamarind paste - 1/2 teaspoon
Onion - small piece (optional)
Tofu - Extra firm style - 1" thick slab
Salt to taste
Procedure: Grind all the ingredients except tofu in the Asia Kitchen jar of the Sumeet blender (wide jar). Once the coconut is ground well add tofu and 1 tbsp. water and grind till the tofu is blended well into a paste. Season it with mustard, urad, curry leaves and serve with idli or dosa or vada.
If you want, you can blend the curry leaves with the other ingredients.
If you want spicier, please use more jalopeno peppers.
