2 types of morekozhambu I make
Method 1
Ingradients
ladies finger or pumpkin cut into small portions
1 medium size onion chopped
2 tomatoes
2-3 green chillies
1 tsp of jeera
1 tsp raw rice
1 tsp raw channa dal or door dal
1/2 tsp tumeric powder
1 cup curd
mustard seeds, urad dal, 1-2 dried chilli for seaoning
salt to taste
method
soak rice and dal in water for 1 hour.
drain the water, grind them with green chilli and jeera into a fine paste and keep aside.
take a pan , heat oil and season mustard seeds and urad dal , dry chilli and add chopped onion and tomatoes and vegetables and fry. add 1 1/2 cup water to this and add tumeric and salt and bring to boil till all vegetables are well cooked.
add the ground paste and cook it till the mixture thickens. remove from fire and cool it for a minute and add the beaten curd to it and garnish with corriander leaves.
method 2
ingradients
capsicum 1
chopped onion 1
chopped tomatoes 2
1 1/2 inch ginger
green chillies 3
jeera 1 tsp
tumeric 1/2 tsp
salt
beaten curd 1 cup
method
same as above
to make the paste, grind jeera, green chilli, and ginger and keep aside.
follow the same steps as above , use capsicum instead of vegetables but the mixture will not be very thick like the other one
this method is easy to do.
