Hi Hemant and other experts,
i remember that I used to eat a dish served on festive occassions in Karnataka. it is puri the top of which is broken and badam milk is poured into it and eaten. I would like to know the name and recipe of it. Thanks in advance.

Hello Ashley,
This is an universal dish .In Gujarati , it is known as Dudh Paak. This is thickened Milk which is mildly flavoured with cardamom and is eaten with Poories.
Don't worry the recipe is coming up today.

Hi Hemanthji and ashley,
What ashley is talking about is not Doodh pak with puri. It is called Chiroti. Chiroti is always served with badam milk (which is not like doodh pak. It doesn't have rice or charoli in it). I wish I had time to give the recipe.
Another version of chiroti is called Peni. This is also served with badam milk. But, before pouring badam milk on the puri (chiroti or peni), they sprinkle little powdered sugar and then pour badam milk.
Bye, got to go to class.
