Hii
Kikkoman soy sauce is not good.so dont ever buy that.heinz soy sauce has always worked out fine for me.As for chilli sauce tabasco sauce is quite good.heinz green chilli sauce and red chilli sauce are ok.Hope it helps.

Hello Sakshi,
I'm curious to know why you say Kikkoman soy sauce is not good. It's considered the best soy sauce. Even Chinese people I know recommend Kikkoman. It's more expensive than others but it's the best!

Ivete,
Should probably let sakshi answer, but I suspect that her choice is driven by the fact that she's probably using it for 'Indian' chinese, which is vastly different from any other chinese.

Hii
well, kikkoman soy is very thin and doesnt taste that good when used in Indian chinese( as jl said). Its my personal opinion though.when i prepare fried rice i could know the difference in taste of both brands.

Regarding the chilli sauce: I would strongly recommend 'Sriracha' sauce - this is a Vietnamese sauce, freely available in the US, which is absolutely fantastic for our cooking. Its chunky and if you add a couple of drops of gingelly oil, you can use it with dosas!
cheers, R
