DRY FISH

Do you know where we can buy dry fish and what type of dry fish is used in cooking in kerala.

Hi,from my experience,shark is the best dry fish you get in Kerala.Chemmeen,Palli and Kurichi are also popular.Shark costs you around 80-120 rupees and will be available with most Kerala stores in your city.It is much preferred as fry than curry.Don't deep fry,use minimum oil and chilli powder. It comes salted.
