There are many threads to this Saraswath brahmins in Goa and Karnataka. There is also on Mangaloreans. Portuguese destroyed and built many Churches On the same land. What the catholics are doing now is marrying according to gotras and the very temples which is present nad also those which are rebuilt in other states. Dont you think it is little confusing . You are in one religion then follow the customs of another you destroyed. Actually in part i am also paradoxically of the same catholic blood.
