All times in EST +10:30 for IST.
Centuries of exploitation has taken place against
down trodden by Upper cast ( Brahmins, Kshatryas etc ). People are getting educated, every one knows their right today and they are also aware of their history.
This has caused a lot of social anger towards
"upper casts" especially Brahmins.
Mistake has happenned, now what should brahmans
do in order to redeem and be united with society ?

All one can do is extend their hand out to others in friendship and out of love for humanity. Whether or not that hand is recieved or the favour returned is not in anybody's control...
There are people that will hate brahmins forever as are there people who will hate the deprived forever.... the irony is that those people will never realize that their hatred makes them more alike one another than ever before.
There are two types of people in the world. Those who love and those who hate. Forget about any other type of colour, geography, caste, sex or creed.
If you are the type who loves than know that you may have to endure material suffering at the hands of those who hate. Also recognize that anything material is maya (illusion) anyways and that truly your spirit advances regardless of current hardship.
Know also that your love may help someone who has only known hate to heal their wounded soul that they might too learn to love.
That is all you can do.

Brahmins were given some kind of power to lead others to spiritual world. They respected by others and `they had to pray for others in front of deity. In the past, there was a time when it was nesessary to have a group of people in society to be in charge of religious affairs. Ordinary people were either illiterate or did not have time to make a proper study of their religion. They therefore engaged a number of people like:-
(For example)
Hindu - Brahmin
Buddhist - Bhikkhus
Christian - Priest, & etc
Muslim - Mullas
They had no other task or profession in life except to study religion and to see that people observed its laws.
But now, no longer need them.

But now, no longer need them to represent others, instead, they can learn other profession to upgrade themselves, even they can learn other religions or investigate the inner truth of GOD.
Nowadays, People can read and write themselves, So they can pray to directly to his creator.

A brahmin (not Brahman - Brhaman is God) is a teacher (including preaching) until he/she choses to change from the teaching profession when he/she is no longer a brahmin. All Indian teachers are brahmins, not brahman.

What should a brahman do in today’s India?
Brahmans, as conceptualised, have no intellectual capacity the modern time demands. They don’t need to do anything at all. However, Indians as people, irrespective of their caste and/or creed, should do whatever that needs to be done to clean the centuries old, corrupted socio-politico-economic system of India.

>>Brhaman is God.
Not anymore!
Brahman, as postulated as god, can never exist in reality. It exists only in people's deluded minds.

Hi
I am a practising Christian and a youth leader. I have always found that I had a drive to guide the youth.
As a Brahmin, I have found that people neither hate me nor glorify me for being a Brahmin. I am just another Indian that is just as respected as the other is.
As a Brahman in the Hindu context, I always thought it was their duty to guide others. Not stepping on others trying to stay at the top of the social circle.
It’s a pity that your spiritual leaders have just disintegrated into the lowest class akin to the majority of politicians or lawyers.
I hope you guys are able to bridge the rift because this is problem that seems to be embedded in your society. I will take at least several generations to oust, and at worst become like the french revolution.
Good luck and God bless

As a first thing , Brahmans should giev all their beautiful ladies for the enjoyment of teh dalits and shudras.
This will help reduce much of anger.Plus improve interconnections and relations between brahmans and dalits and shudras.
