Solution to Kashmir problem?

Why don't Indians hold a plebiscite in Kashmir and give Kashmiris independence if they want it?
Of course India could lay down a couple of conditions-
1. If Kashmir is to be a separate country, PoK has to be part of it. In other words, BOTH India and Pakistan give up their respective occupied portions.
2. The rights of minority Hindus would be constitutionally guaranteed.
3. Kashmir would remain neutral in any war between India and Pakistan and would not allow military bases of any foreign country.
4. Kashmiris would have reciprocal visa arrangements with both India and Pakistan to allow families to visit relatives and these wont be revoked in the event of a war between India and Pakistan.
This would help all the three countires. The border conflicty has been an economic drain on all the three countries, not to mention the tens of thousnads of people who have got killed.
I know, right wing Hindus would object to this. But if the people dont want to be ruled by India, what right do we have to impose their rule on them? Isn't it the same as the British ruling India? And didnt we buy independence for bangladesh on the pretext that Bangladeshis didnt like Pakistan to rule them?
Lets discuss the consequences.

You are right in one sense. There is no genetically pure nationality as such. Maybe among some tribals, the gene pool has been kept pure via no marriage to outsiders. But tribals are a small % of total population.

Question is, what defines a nation? Well, with Indians that is very easy. One automatically associates India with Hinduism. But here you are making a very subtle assumption: that one has been exposed to Hinduism. It is true that the idea of a nation only exists in the mind, as the sum total of customs/traditions etc. A tribal in India may not know of Taoism. And yet Taoism is there.

Ultimately, one has to take certain assumptions for granted - there is too much that cannot be proved. Such as, the nation exists for a purpose. The people of the nation also exist for a purpose. To say that every ideal/custom/tradition is merely a fiction of the mind and serves no higher purpose - while this reasoning may be objective, it is clearly superficial. Religion/philosophy then, whether Judaic or Hindu or Buddhist, ties together many of the "why" questions.

It seem that only 'some' Thamizhans can withstand the enslavery of Hindian dominion..as well as with Punjabis. The thing is though even great politicans get arrested for no reason. What do you think will happen if some local citizen just go against it? They'd probably kill him or her and dump the body somewhere else.

I believe Thiru AP MASILMANI has posted on the "Is Tamil derived from Sanskirit?" post on this forum explaining the root of the word India. Which he said to have originated form the root word 'chinthu' which was the name of the cloth that was produced by the Mohonjadaro/ Harappan people which was exported to Persia.
Chinthu came from the word Chin > Chinthu. Chinthu mean 'chinna nool' as he explained it. Go look at his explanation on the link below.
