There are 1 million cases are pending with National Human Rights commission India since its inception.
Most of thecases are attibuted to police atrocities, custodial rapes, unlawful detention,
missing person in custody, and other police brutalities.

These figure does not include atrocities on civilians by Army , paramiltary and other forces.

NHRC seems to be ineffective and many cases are disposed without any remarks just as arbitrary dismissal.

NHRC depends on the same police culprit to investigate the case, as they do not have any probable agency to investigate the real incidence.

The file goes to govt, who forward to secretary , then it comes to table of local POLICE HQ which further goes tosame police station for investigation who has committed atrocities on victim, The file goes with negative remarks on victim and it gets close.

Victim continues to suffer with this triangular gimmik of govt, police and NHRC.

dowe get justice from such NHRC and other Indian judicial system unless we make police punished for all non-sense.

Why police have been given so much power when they have no relation with honesty, integrity to their profession..

I have not seen any police in India which can be blessing for a normal civilian or rather if police station is helpful for any resident unless he orshe is big shot or has some recommendations.

Unless we change our police and their continuous business practices with law and civilians, we cannot eradicate any crime from society..

Now we have complete police mafia which is fully supported by govt.
