Read Athchoodi first. Then you read Thiriupugazh.
Read kondrai vendan. Then you read Periya puranam.
Read Moothurai. Then you read Thiruvaasagam.
You will see the impact.
Just in case you don't. Let me tell you. From Sangam Literature to just before Avvaiyaar, the writers wrote for the matured people. Only Avvaiyaar thought of the children. Her simple langauage set to simple metres, telling the good living principles for children is really warm.
Only a Mother knows her child. Mother Avvaiyaar!

Idiyappam,
I think thiruppkazh was written by aruNakirinAthar thiruvAcakam was written by thiru mANikkavAcakar. I don't think auvaiyAr wrote periya purANam, but I am not sure!
I do agree with you she seems to have focused on childeren! That was good thing for children.

I'm very sorry Idiappam, in a hurry I didn't take note that you're comparing auvaiyAr's works with thiruppukazh, thiruvacakam, and periya purANam and not claiming that they were written by auvaiyAr. I am really sorry!
