I came across this in a book i was reading, I thought perhaps i can find out more on the statement made by Mr Churchill. Lost opportunities and the like..

- A rather rude America Woman practically assaulted Winston Churchill at a reception, demanding to know, “What are you going to do about those wretched (India) Indians?”
Said Churchill: “To which Indians do you refer? Do you refer to the second greatest nation on earth, which under benign and magnificent British rule has multiplied and prospered accordingly? On to the unfortunate North American Indians (Amerindian), which under your present administration are almost extinct?” -

  I hope many of you Indians would recognise that this is a come back to what is written on other threads. See what they are trying to claim? My point is where you never had any foundation you can have no true claim. This brings me to the point where I was reprted at Leeds 1996 that I said 'I can hardly wait to return to civilization'. The officials at Leeds University were highly annoyed - how can she say such a thing when we colonize Canada - brought western civilization to the third world(refer to report to the Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister in 1997).
  
  Well my argument was that 'That is the middle of the dimension, what about the begining?. This was found by spying on my data to authorities between 1998 to 2001. After this, the claim above was discarded. It changed to 'I do not like English people'.
  
  
  AS I said in 1996 in Leeds video recorded, the development of civilization is like a building block. You build on previous idead and civilization, just like one conduct research. The most recent development is always more refined. However, we can't forget the significance of the basic fundamentals which i referred to yesterday in another thread(how britain anglizised India culture and civilization).
  
  In addition to the above, what was highly offence amongst what I said in 1996 in Leeds video recorded, is that those who developed their ideas
  by exploiting our resources to do so while preventing our ideas from being developed while using our own basic civilization and ideas, have fored the icening on the case(decoration). It remains that it is in the cake where the real substance lies.
  
  So to hell with Winston Churchill. He knew India was going to be a great lost to Britain, but yet he was forced to let go.

  Truly, without the cake, the icening has no significance. We have seen that with Britain time and again when it started to loose colonies. So I do not know what this 'First and second great nation' thing is about.

  They also took the gold mainly from India and used it lavishly around the Queen's palace. You will also see that at the Royal pavillion in Brighton England.
  
  Looking at what is shown in this thread(how Britioan anglicized India) and many others on this forum, one shoudl ask how dare Nagapan by stating that 'She came to our country and acted white'. What is White. I could not change my skin colour from brown to white.
  
  Indian referred to Indian from UP as scums. There are scums all over the western world. I have never seen a, east Indian eating from the garbage cans, but I have seen whites doing it. In Britain, there are so many teenage mothers pushing strolers. What excuse do they have. If they are not scums and came from good backgrounds, how did they find themselves in such postions? They live of the welfare state and that is perpetuated by their kids. There are many adult male and female on social welfare. They have the chance to study, but they do not want to. They also do not want to work. They are nothing but COMSUMERS living for no PURPOSE. They are the true SCUMS. And if wasn't for the exploitative history, the high percentage of English citizens being SCUMS and CONSUMERS would have been so evident.

  Churchill was an arrogant guy. He sarcastically called Mahatma Gandhi, a "half naked fakir" and loathed him. But Gandhi loathed none.
