Indian Film censorship - Is it outdated ?

Vijay Anand, Censor Board chairman (he quit), says that the nation was ready to snip off the Cinematograph Act of 1952 and replace it with the global code of 'no cuts, only classification.' The new code he envisaged would kowtow the constitutional guarantee of 'freedom of expression' in its totality. So much so, there would be a niche for porn films too.
