Quality of Tamil Websites.

I feel the quality of Tamil websites (Internet editions of popular newspapers and magazines) is bad (is it going down or was it never there?) as compared with other language sites.

With the exception of Kumudam and Vikatan, most other Tamil sites (Dinamalar/Thanthi/Mani/Karan)are not upto the mark - slow, poor design, too many popups, no dynamic fonts, missing links and above all, degrading news quality.

Just take a look at other language sites - Telugu (Eenadu, Vaartha), Malayalam (Deepika, Mathrubhumi, Malayala Manorama), Hindi (Dainik Jagran, Dainik Bhaskar), Marathi (Loksatta, Sakal), you will understand what I'm talking about. Even if you don't understand any of these languages, please do take a look at any of these sites and you will certainly find a noticeable difference in site design and performance. If our compatriots can do it, why can't we? Or, are we, Tamil netizens just okay with mediocre sites?
