The evil alliance of Mayawathi and Rajnath singh - blessed by Vajpaye and Kanshi ram and Ajith Singh is responsible for this murder. Ph o o lan devi was the greatest freedom fighter of Dalits and represented the millions of Dalit Women. Mayavathi and BJP did not like their political status being disturbed threatened by a Dalit woman l. The BSP and BJP have finished off Ph o o lan Devi and now their secret allaiance is exposed

Dalits and Shudras must identify and expose the fraudulent Anti Dalit BJP and BSP. BSP doesnot represent dalits but is a corrupt party of coolies who work for their uppercaste Masters

  Ph-o-olan Devi - her life and struggle represents to me one of the most important uprising seen in the Hindi hearland of India. She is the symbolism of all the oppression that the Indian society has built into itself - poor, dalit and woman. She has been tortured and humiliated individually and collectively for being a member of each of the above section. She is not the first one to have suffered because of these factors and if the social equations are to prevail, she will not be the last. But to her credit goes that she did
  not take things lying down and replied in a language that was most befitting. She might not have been guided by thoretical enlightment, but her message was clear cut for all those who were ready to listen - Opressions cannot continue for ever, without paying the penalties.
  
  There always had been the urban middle class attempt to brand as her a mere criminal and wanted her to be behind the bars if not on the gallows for ever. This would save them from seeing the reflection of the ugly face of the society, whose byproduct she is.
  
  It could be an irony that the day of her murder was the day on which Amnesty International published their report on racism , in which there is a very strong mention about the treatment that is met out to dalits, poor and women in India.
  
  She might have been used by various forces for their own narrow goals. But I cannot stop myself from saluting the lady for her courage and conviction.

  i am surprised the way people use language on this page.i presume all those who posted comments must have been reading newspapers.case has already been soleved by police.it was a money dispute betwen two parties over a gas agency licience.
