All my friends who are using a particular internet provider's services are getting a new problem since a few days ago! No Java Scripts run if connected to the internet! Can somebody throw light on any new viruses which does this trick?

  hi I have a similar problem. Haven't been able to view pictures or graphics on the net. The settings seem to be ok. Is it being caused by a virus?

  After posting my question in panic, I found the following info from the web:
  
  This is a worm. If it has entered your system you can see an exe called msblast.exe somewhere in your winnt folder. Some call it as "microsoft blaster". If your system is infected you cannot use hotmail. No links will work. Cut and paste will not work.

  The patch will not work if your windows is not service pack 2 or above. (The patch while downloading will notify you). Then first download windows 2000 service pack 2 from microsoft website and install it. Then download the patch. It will work and the worm will be destroyed.
