hello
i am a mother to two daughters aged 9 and 15 years old.
i want them to pierce their nose
so i want to know when is the right age to pierce nose?
which side should it be pierced?
what kind of jewellery should be worn?
also i am to considering to get my nose pierced.
i live i pune.so also send suggestion for me

  I would like to comment on the type of jewelry for younger children especialy the 9 yr old child, Make it something small and not heavy, you do not want to scar the child. I think heavy jewelry with beads hanging off them will make a big hole in the childs nostril, you do not want to do that. Just a thought, use it, don't use it.

  Shakti- I beg to differ. I don't think it is advisable to get noses of young children pierced, with or without their consent. Unlike ear piercings, nose piercings are more conspicuous and what if the children regret having got them later in life?
  Why would a parent be so desparate to get the noses of their young daughters pierced in the first place?
