Again the Malaysian Police have done it. This time they roughed up 280 Indian IT professionals and defaced their passport. These police are lowly paid officials who prey on the expatriates. They are also illiterates who dont understand what is the consquence of defacing a passport which belong to another government.

All this while the Malaysian enforcers only besieged Malaysian Indians (if at all possible, Tamils) on their ‘means of duties’. Often the detainees (again, those ill-timed Tamils) died or at least nastily attacked while in the detention centers. A couple of years ago a young near-to-give-birth pregnant Tamil lady was shot dead for ‘speeding and confronting with the police’. Mind you, she was a HEAVILY PREGNANT LADY!!!
And now, as expected, they have preyed the Indian nationals. Let’s stay and have the sense of hearing another persuasively put up falsehood by the defense ministry.
And the touring PM will have yet another fairy-tale upon his homecoming!!!

Foreign workers: M’sia only defending its interests
While people may take the view that the police are a bit aggressive when dealing with foreign workers, we must realise that they are only doing their job to protect Malaysian interests and up hold the law. Look at how America deals with foreigners when its interests are at stake.
People should understand that our beloved PM is against the American-inspired war against a fellow Muslim country. It is the official policy. The PM has been busy trying to form a body of opinion against the war through NAM and OIC, and assist Pakistan at this difficult time.
However, India’s support for anything American is not acceptable and is against Malaysia’s interest. We have to send an unmistakable signal to our so-called friends.
We have to do what is right for us. People who don’t like Malaysia can leave and foreigners can return to their country. We Malaysians will not stand in their way.

According to the Criminal Procedure Code, the police are allowed to arrest a person if there is a suspicion of an offence being committed. But in this violent incident of detention, the fact that a class of nationals, Indians, being identified as potential illegal immigrants, is nothing but racism.
Until the Malaysian government is willing to address "institutionalised racism", all foreign governments should stop sending their nationals to work in Malaysia.
It is indeed time that all foreign workers returned to their home countries. Malaysian authorities as well as employers do not value the labour. Foreign workers are treated as commodities that can be used, abused, tortured and discarded with impunity.
