I own a PC.For the past few days,I face a problem.
Whenever I try to open any attached file of an e mail,my system fails.With some effort, it prompts for the type of the program it should open with(Power point /Winword etc..).If I choose any,that is still more problematic.
Because of this I'm unable to open any attached file.I have not faced thisproblem earlier.

What should I do?Should I change any of my settings such that the system opens
the attached file automatically,without any prompt.I'm badly in need of your
suggestions.Please suggest me on how to change my settings such that the system gets the program details without prompting.

  Save your attachment in a personal folder, and then rename it with a suffix like .jpg, .doc etc.
  That way you should be able to open the file.
