lemma introduce myself. I'm a tamil brahmin& a final engg student from SRM engg college, Chennai. I dont get it guys. Y do most tamils hate us. Everyone or the other says something sick of us. After hearing too much of this kinda $hit I've really become repulsive towards ppl of other castes when they start to make some WISE comment abt my caste.
they say
brahmins are misers
they dont allow anyone to live peacefully
they practice abusing other castes
they are selfish
they are very proud and high-headed
they also comment on the traditional manner in which a brahmin priest wears his hair.

I dont understand. We dont get anything like reservation 4 jobs or joinin colleges. we are being scored and tarnished by the Dravidian parties.

but in true image ppl reading this tread should know that brahmins dont have any army of fighters like anyother castes have. we dont have any political party which specifically represents us. There is in all 0 representation 4 us.

ARE ALL THE PPL SPEAKING ILL OF BRAHMINS JUS BECAUSE WE DONT HAVE A UNCIVILIZED, UNCULTURED ARMY TO COMBAT THE INSULT?

  it is because of the Brahmin caste that Hinduism is reduced to its pitiful, blasphemous state it is in now
  I suggest you do thorogh readings on Dr. Ambedkar and WHY he converted to Buddhism, and about lower castes eg, Foolan Devi and the suferings she underwent due to the high-caste Thakurs.
  Brahmins opressed the so-called lower castes and untouchables to such an extent, which was why Islam , Buddhism and Christianity quickly worked their way into the faiths of Indians.
  If you have heard or read about Srinivasa Kalyanam, Goddess Lakshmi curses the Brahmin race because she was so disheartened and disgusted at their nonsensical views and behaviour. SHe curses that they will only survive by selling their knowledge and educating others, which is obiviously true till this day, which explains why Brahmins do not get reservations or special seats like the Dalits simply because of their own selves.
  and yes, almost ALL brahmins i have mixed with are utter misers, except for a handful which unfortunately is an iota of a drop in the ocean.
  Money speaks so ultimately for you people. Face it, if there was no fault on you people's side, why would so many people go against your caste...there has to be a valid reason isn't it?
  Even till this day, in a temple called Pambu Mekkadu in Kerala, entry is strictly prohibited for non-Brahmins, and they even ask openly what caste you are and what kulam, gotram and all those crap. Caste is nothing and doesn't define a person. Does wearing a poonool ensure you being a good human? NO!!!
  When Nature doesn't recognise discrimination, and rain falls everywhere on earth as much as sunshine, why do humans insist on caste? let one person change, and slowly at least the whole society will try to change!Everyone belongs only to ONE caste-humankind.
