It is pathetic that the Indian youth has to learn the basics of sex life through X rated films, cheap erotic books and through unhealthy on hand experiences. Why we cannot arrange for an ideal and healthy sex education for the youth. Will it not break many myths and false beliefs, and curb sexual exploitation of the youth ? Please express your view :

  Do you know that this was the country in which
  the first authoritative book on sex was written a thousand years ago? It was the foriegners (starting from the muslim conquerers to the british), who made sex a taboo subject. Then the whole thing got corrupted like the Western world, and now the basic youth of India have nowhere to turn to. If only they learnt Samskrit they would have had the best scientific sex education in life.

  Why to learn sansktrit,when we can translate the books in our own language.

  sex is not a sin. it was not so in earlier days for we had sexual engravings in temples too. something happened in between .women were seen as weaker sex only in that period, their rights curbed. but the sad thing is not so many of us has realised it. the very thought of indians learning sex through movies & cheap books makes us feel so bad. we must come away from that barrier. if sex is made an open topic the sex crimes may dwindle down . why are we waiting is still a question to me!
