i'm staying in the coastal maharastra and i used to get our tamil magazines like kumudam and vikatan etc from the book shop.
one day i had been to the shop and a gentleman besides me ,took the kumudam magazine from me and started turning the pages.
as he went on turning ,he felt embraced by seeing all the photos and pictures in it.he looked atme differently ,kept down the book and started walking.before he was leaving ,he was asking whether it was proper to take a such magazine.
i replied that it was a family magazine.
from that day onwards he was feeling bad about the entire magazines.
after a long thought , i too ashamed of my self for buying kumudam

  Ananda vikatan is more decent magazine compared to Kumudam
  
  Kumudam sometimes put false interviews for cheep publicity .
  
  Good tamil families should avoid "Kumudam"
