He’s the man: For fans of Sivaji



The Nadigar Thilagam Fans Association will screen Avanthan Manithan today at the Russian Cultural Centre, Alwarpet. Directed by A.C. Tirulokchandar, the film features Sivaji Ganesan, Jayalalithaa, Muthuraman, and Manjula. It has lyrics by Kannadasan and music by M.S. Viswanathan.

The screening will be preceded by the release of Nadippathilum Koduppathilum Sigaram Thotta Sivaji , a book by M. J. M. Jesupatham. Actor Y. Gee. Mahendra will receive the first copy, and Ramkumar Ganesan, president, All India Sivaji Rasigar Mandram, will formally release the book. Noted poet, writer and producer Panchu Arunachalam will be the chief guest.
