Good song Raj. I don't remember hearing this when watching the movie online. Morning Raga is mostly in English with a little bit of Telugu in it. Shabana Azmi played a major role, and Mani Sharma did the music/orchestration. I really liked the upbeat recital of "thaayE yashOdha..." in the movie.

Alokaye Sri Balakrishnam -----NarayaNa Theerthar
From Sruthilayalu (Telugu)
Alokaye Sri BalakrishNam Sakhi Anandha Sundhra ThaaNdava KrishNam.... (Husseni)
from NarayaNa Theerthar's "KrishNa Leela Tharangini" :
Only a few stanzas from he composition are used in the movie version. The most popular compositions from 'KrishNa Leela Tharangini' are probably "Govindamiha" in Bagesri and "Govardhana Giridhara" in Darbari Kanada.

Raga is also not Huseni. More like Bageshree.
I tried to look for the Huseni version but couldn't find it. The net is so full of the neo-srutilayalu versions. Can you post the original version?

Himadri Sudhe Pahimam ------Shyama Sastri
From Hamsa Geete (Kannada)(1975)
Himadri Sudhe Pahimam...... (in KalyaNi)
RR: They celebrate Radha KalyaNam in Alangudi,Mayavaram and other places in Tanjore and sing Krishna Leela Tharangini and other KaNNan/Krishna songs. Unfortunately the video clips do not list the compositions. They also celebrate 'Tharangam Festival' in Varahur ( between Tanjore and Trichy) and sing tharangams. If you are in hurry you have to listen to all those clips to find Alokaye.
