Pls tell me the secre of red colour fried i dont like to add colour. In fried rice it looks like orange colour, Iam telling indian resturants indo chinnese fried rice

hi, does anyone know good simple indo chinese food receipes like lemon chicken, hakka chow mein dishes, ginger beef, thai chilli chicken etc. or a web site that has good receipes for indo-chinese foods? i really feel like endulging on these foods. would appreciate your help

EGGLESS CAKE
Ingredients:
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
125 grms of butter
1 tsp soda bicarbonate
2 cups self-rising flour
¼ cup of milk
1 cup grated carrot or mixed fruits
Or 1 cup of mashed banana with little lime juice
Method:
Boil water,sugar,and butter till butter melts.
Let it cool nicely,add 1 tsp of soda bicarbonate.
Slowly add in the flour, milk, and the carrot.
Add essence according to ingredients added.
Bake for 1 hour at 180 o C

Eggless Chocolate sponge cake:
1/2 tin condensed milk (200gms)
40 gm cocoa
2 3/4 cups plain flour (240gms)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda (soda bicarb)
2 tsp icing sugar
1/2 cup butter melted (60gms)
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
100 ml milk
1. Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, cocoa all together 2 to 3 times. Keep aside. 2. Pour condensed milk in a bowl. Add the butter, and beat well till smooth. Add the flour spoon by spoon, mixing into the condensed milk mixture. In between, add milk as required if the butter begins to get too stiff. 3. Once all the flour is used up, beat the batter as above till light (5-7 minutes). 4. Add the coke or Thums Up and mix gently till smooth. 5. Pour into a greased cake tin. Do not smooth with a spoon etc. If the consistency is right this will not be needed. 6. Pre-heat over to 300o c. Place tin inside. Bake at 200o c for 5-7 minutes and 150o c till done. (35 to 40 minutes). 7. Poke with a skewer and check. Cool a little. Invert on wire rack. Cool completely before doing icing if any.
1. Stir the mixture in one direction only all the while. This will incorporate more air and make the cake lighter. 2. Saty's fresh for a week if refrigerated.

CERRY BADAM CAKE (eggless)
Ingredients:
Condensed milk- 1 tin(400g)
Sugar - 75g
Maida - 250g
Baking soda - 2 spoons
Badam - 100g
Cherry - 100g
Soda bicarbonate - 1 spoon
Warm milk - 2 cups
Badam essence - 1/2 spoon
Butter - 125g
METHOD:
Soak badam in boiling water for a minute and peel them off and cut in to small bits. Cut cherries also in to small pieces and keep aside. Then mix well the baking soda and soda bicarbonate with maida and sieve and keep aside. Now beat the butter with sugar (with out using your hands),then add badam essence and condensed milk little by little to it and beat well. Now add the pieces of badam and cherry to the maida flour mixture. Then mix the butter mixture and maida mixture well by adding little by little. Finally add the warm milk to the mixture and mix well so that it comes to the consistency of dosai batter. Then pour the batter to the baking vessel or tin and bake it in the microwave oven for 20 mintues at 180 degree centigrate, if the total weght of your mixture is around 1 kg and if it's more than 1 and 1/2 kg then bake it 160 degree centigrate for 40 mintues.
I got this recipe from one of my cookery book. Hope it comes out well. Pl let know the feed back if you try this one.

thanks for giving me theses recipe for eggless cake, i would surely going to give try for all recipe, but the problem is that whenever i make cake firstly it rises well and then went back.
is this b'coz of poor measurement in taking material, pls suggest.

Dear Padma, yes it is maida with baking powder added to it. It's called self rising flour.
You can buy it in supermarket, or you can add a teaspoon of baking powder to a cup of maida and sieve it two three times.

I would like a receipe for SIZZLING RICE SOUP.
It has shrimp, chicken , mushrooms, green onion,etc. And then they put hot rice over it and it 'sizzles'.
