Tiya.... where is the mango in your recipe ?
Here, Malavika... This dish will be sweet as well as spicy.
Prawns : 2 Nos. small
Mango : 5 Nos. big
Green Chillies : 6 1/2 Nos.
Tamarind juice : 1 tbsp
Salt : 1/2 a cup
Sugar : 1 cup
Dry the prawns in your terrace for exactly 32 hours. See to it that the 32 hour time does not end at midnight. Ha ha. Ok, jokes apart, here is how you prepare the dish .....
Boil the prawns in a pan with half a litre water. Slice the mangoes and cook them too. Make a paste of the green chillies. Add this paste and the tamarind juice also in the pan. Mix well and then finally add salt and sugar together and cook for at least 22 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves. For better taste, you can fry the prawns in butter.
