Hi,
Can someone tell me the receipe of masala puri (chat) which we get in bangalore. I would really appreceiate if someone can help me. I searched so many websites, nowhere i found the receipe. Can someone please help me. Thanks in advance

masala puri
Onion 1
Tomato(es) 1
Boiled Potato(es) 1
Boiled Peas 1 Cup(s)
Small puris 20
Coriander Leaves 1 Bunch
Curd/Yogurt 1/2 Cup(s)
Tamarind Chutney 2 Table spoon
Coriander Chutney 4 Table spoon
Sev 1 Cup(s)
Garam Masala Powder 1/4 Tea spoon
Method
Finely chop onions, tomotoes and boiled potatoes
To this add peas, garam masala, salt, tamarind chutney, coriander chutney and mix well
Crush about 5 puris in a small plate, add the 1 1/2 table spoon of the above mixture, add about 1 table spoon of curds, decorate with sev and finely chopped coriander leaves and serve immediately
Repeat this for remaining puris.

Thanks a lot for the masala puri receipe. But i am searching for the receipe in which they put liquid masala. (which we get in bangalore). They put some sort of green semi thick masala and all other items u have mentioned r correct. If u know,please do let me know. Thanks a lot

Hi I think this is the much sought after masala!!
For the chaat base
• 1 cup maida
• ¼ cup wheat flour
• ¼ tsp salt
• ½ tbsp oil
• ½ tsp onion seeds
• Oil for frying
For the chaat
• 1 ¼ cup channa dal
• 1tsp red chilli powder
• 1 graded onion
• 1 small piece ginger
• 5 green chillies chopped
• ½ tsp garam masala
• 1 tsp amchur powder
• Salt, little turmeric
Method
Soak chana dal in water for 5 hours. Cook in hot boiling water. Take 2 tbsp oil. Heat. Fry the grated onion. Add green chillies and thinly chopped ginger. Fry, add the rest of the ingredients, salt cook for two minutes. Add dal and again cook for 5.min on slow gas, cool. Arrange puris on a serving plate spread above mixture on all puries. Put little green and red chutney. Garnish with very finely chopped onion and sprinkle dry masala and fresh coriander.
